About: I’ve grown up with dogs - a Dalmatian pupy, a Doberman from puppy to adulthood, various labs, and now, a yorkie mix. I love taking them on long walks and enjoying the weather. As a senior dog owner, I’m used to all levels of activity for dogs and administering medications. I’m not afraid of cleaning up messes and am happy to take time to meet your dog’s unique needs. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I can fit your pup’s needs into my day. I have a senior dog of my own so i understand the importance of routine and adhering to a schedule. I love walks and am not afraid of a little weather - there’s no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing for it. Rain, snow, or heat won’t bother me! In your home or mine, I can address whatever needs you have for your pups. I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a tether and use that or a leash. I’m most comfortable with dogs being leashed until I know their recall abilities with me. The health and safety of your pet is of the utmost importance to me!

“If you are in the Carlisle, PA, area, please consider using Victoria C. and her family as your sitter. It was only a half a day stay but we were able to do a meet and greet before the actual date. She was very attentive and sent pictures to us showing what he was doing. We could tell by Blaze's body language he was happy with his stay. They walked him several times in their backyard and was able to get him to play ball with them. Next time we are in town we will use them again, we highly recommend them.”

“Cheryl made me feel at ease about leaving my very anxious baby. Her system to introducing the dogs really put my mind at ease, and she sent me pictures while we were out to let me know my pup was okay. I would recommend her. Thank you Cheryl!”

About: I’ve grown up at a dog kennel, the Manager was my babysitter, I started to go with her there when I was in 3rd grade, over the years I became a worker there & was the dog walker there to. If you couldn’t find me, I was in ether a cat(s) or dog(s) kennel, snuggling with the shy scared ones, I spent extra time with them & walked them to earn their trust. Depending on the animal or animals they loved me more then the other workers. LOL Most of the groomers that worked there, I helped them with the grooming & the baths & nails clipping too. 8 years ago I had to quit, new workers was upsetting customers, so I started pet sitting on my own & a bunch of customers came with me also. I’ve made visits to clients homes, a stayed at a few homes & clients brought their pets to my house & some pets had soo much fun they don’t wanna go home. LOL now My husband & our 1 year old daughter pet sits together with all pets & farm pets. Pets are our life, we love pets & they love us. My husband works part time now for health reasons, so we mainly are home. But when he gets work I’m home with my daughter & fur kids & vacation kids so it’s just apart of our lives & we try to do different activities with the for kids each day to tire them out so when they go home they can rest for the next trip. We try to keep the fur kids happy Right now until we get our yard fenced in we take dogs on walks some dogs we put on a cable on our porch because they don’t like to be watch while they go potty, at clients homes it depends some just go out into their yard either fence or not fenced or underground fence Or we walk them however they do it at their house is what we do also

“Kristy was awesome! I needed a sitter last minute for my 8 week old girl Eliza and Kristy took on the challenge. I will definitely be having her watch my sweet girl again. Highly recommend!”

About: My home has been vet inspected as well as by the dog warden and I am licensed by the Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to run my business. I have had at least one dog for literally my entire life. So I have spent nearly 40 years with dogs, feeding bathing training and playing I am a stay at home mother. So I am at home 90% of the time. And when the weather is nice we are outside a lot. I have a fenced in yard with a 6 foot privacy fence. There is a 6 year old female lab to play with as well as a female german shepherd puppy. We have gates to keep them where they can be looked after and crates if necessary I am a stay at home parent so I am around 90% of the time. My daily routine keeps me at home and therefore fully able to accommodate pretty much any schedule I have a fenced in back yard and plenty of room for separation while still giving dogs their freedom if necessary. I try to keep dogs routines as close as possible to when they are at home

“Ashley was incredible with my dog and super flexible. We unfortunately dealt with flight delays/cancelations and it was a relief knowing someone was there and willing to not only adapt to changes but genuinely cared about our dogs wellbeing. She sent me photos everyday and regularly corresponded with me which made me feel way more comfortable. 10/10 definitely recommend and will use again in the future.”

“I left my French Bulldog Bonnie with Juliane for the first time and we had a fantastic experience. Bonnie seemed to have a great time playing with her dog. Juliane was a great communicator giving us updates, and I felt like Bonnie was getting safely looked after. I would highly recommend Juliane for daycare!”

“My pup absolutely loves Rebecca and her girls. I feel so good dropping her off there. My Frenchie has separation anxiety and is so happy there she doesn’t give me a backwards glance when I leave. It’s amazing!!”

About: ** UPDATE: I have prided myself on being both affordable and a safe space for your baby, with the raising price of everything especially gas, I have adjusted my rates some to cover costs.** Hi! My name is Amanda V., I am a fulltime fur and non fur Mom, as I have made the jump to make this a full time job! I have two non-fur children ages 10 and 13 , my fur children consist of three kitties babies ages 17-15- 10 and two fluffy doggos ages 5 & 3, and an amazing husband who shares my love of animals. I grew up surrounded by various animals both indoors and outdoors animals. My grandparents owned a farm so I have experience with many farm animals, and growing up we had two dogs, multiple cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I have helped care for and watch others fur/feathered/scaley babies since as long as I can remember. I am not medically certified in anyway, but have extensive knowledge of medicines, administering medicines, CPR, and First AID. I am constantly researching behavior/training methods, daily food/treat quality, and grooming techniques. My dream has always been to work in the animal care field, especially grooming. I currently own my own pet dryer along with various grooming tools, and if wanted I can obtain the knowledge for grooming your fur baby. As for now we live in town, in a quiet neighborhood, with ample room for your fur baby to join our family if you choose to have me care for them in home. I hope to hear from you soon and meet your fur babies!!! If you have any additional questions please contact me. As of now I am available almost any day at any time. I will be going back to substituting in the afternoons starting in the fall, as the need for long term care is lower once school starts. We are an animal loving home, that is both safe and affordable! I do have crates available if you require one and don’t want to lug yours here.

“Kolby was great! She took amazing care of my pup, and he loved getting to play with her dog as well. I would recommend Kolby to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Vacations are fun, but leaving our dog home with a sitter makes us feel a tad bit of stress. Not with KM, though. She loves dogs and treated our pup with kindness from the moment they met. We gave suggestions on the kind of care our dog is used to and KM took those suggestions wholeheartedly and incorporated them into her time caring for our dog. Snuggles? Sweet talk? Walks? Hugs? No problem. Our dog loved the care and KM loved providing for our dog. Top notch dog sitter!”

“Thank you so much to Amanda for the care she provides to our three fur babies. Amanda has actually been our go to fur sitter far before she started on Rover. She has cared for our two angels who are now in heaven and continues to care for our three here with us now. My husband and I have adopted some special needs dogs with health issues and Amanda is THE only person we trust to fill in for us while away. She is very thorough with care, meds, communication, feeds, exercise and above all else love. Most can’t handle three large very energetic dogs all at once but they are no challenge to her. She loves them as her own and actually refers to them as her fur niece and nephews. Be prepared, when you hire Amanda Veley you don’t just gain a trustworthy pet sitter, you gain a forever friend to you and your fur babies!! Thank you so much Amanda!!”
