I work a part time job so I have a lot of free time to hang out and take care of the animals I am sitting. Your animal will not be left alone for more then 2 hours at a time. About: My husband and I are a team of active, educated individuals who love all types of dogs! My husband is a high school math teacher and I am a high school counselor. Working from home during summer has allowed us plenty of time to spend with our dog. We have a 5 year old Yellow Lab who still has the energy of a puppy! We keep up with all routine vet visits and our dog is caught up on all vaccinations including Bordetella (kennel cough). My husband and I live in town but have a large backyard to accommodate play time. We allow our dog on furniture and in our bed a night time..dogs don’t get the long, full life that is humans get, so we like to let him live it as a spoiled pup! We will love your dog like our own!
About: I’ve worked at multiple doggy day cares near Forest Lake MN and I have 2 dogs of my own! I love all animals and treat them like my own! I’m a college student who needs to make more money than what I’m currently making and I’m pretty available Monday through Friday depending on the times! About: I have lived with animals of all kinds for as long as I remember, ever since I was about 5 I would help my parents feed and take care of the animals, and I still help with many thing weither it's bathing, taking on walks, giving hair cuts, giving vaccinations, cutting nails, or giving medication of all sorts. I am currently a senior in high school so on weekdays I have to wait till 4:00 to love your fur-babys as much as you do. About: I am very patient and absolutely love all animals. I worked at a vet clinic before I moved so i know how to handle if an animal gets scared or stressed. I currently work full time. I usually get off pretty early in the morning so anytime after 12pm I am available to provide dog walks. I am not currently offering boarding situations. I have a dog and a cat, my cat doesn’t like no animals into her house so she gets very upset.

I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info should all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!
