Clients ask if you are available then you don't hear from them again?
This happened a number of times already, I'd get a request from a client, who typically ask if I am available for boarding, I'd then reply with a standard template, as follow:
"Hi owners name, thank you for inquiry. My schedule is open for the duration. I had a look at *dogs name"'s description, and looks like she will be a good fit. How would you like to set up a meet and greet some time soon before we confirm the booking?"
Then, I don't hear from them again. Am I doing something wrong? Does this happen to everyone? Do people don't have the decency to at least let me know they have found someone else?
Whats everyones experience on this? My biggest problem is that since I only take 1 dog at a time, I won't show up in the search as available while I am waiting to hear from the client like this.
Thanks, Felix
I am kind of mad about this last one, this client asked if I was available, I replied within a couple of minutes. if they have no intention of booking, why would they ask in the first place?
