Anyone interested in becoming a referral sitter for my clients?

asked 2016-04-06 15:58:50 -0500

Hello,

We are currently at max. capacity with our regular/new http://Rover.com clients (mainly in (our) home pet sitting) and are looking to meet a couple of other sitters in the KC Metro (Brookside/Waldo, MO) area who would be interested in handling some of our overflow as referrals? We are also starting a home construction project this summer and expecting our first 2-legged pup early this fall, so are hoping to establish other sitter options for our clients while we take some time off from hosting guest dogs in our home (at least 6 months). Please let me know if you are interested, I would need to come to your home and interview you personally (like a normal client meet & greet) prior to agreeing to referring clients I feel may fit in your household.

Thanks so much, Alyssa

Hi Alyssa, I'm sure by now you've heard and gotten on the new http://Rover.com FB Sitter referral page? If not, it's awesome. Ask to join and give it a try.

What's the link for this page? I'd love to try it.

When I get ready to go on my trips that's when I try to hit up as many sitters as possible in the area. I simply state that I need my dog to be watched that way I can see how they would interact with somebody that I refer to them. (For Example some respond quick when you say you're a fellow and yet not at all if you say you're looking for services) I also do a meet-and-greet with them so I can see their abilities in person, if I like them THEN I let them know I want to network

Hi Alyssa,

Ha - I searched the board using the "networking" tag but not the "network" tag so I didn't see your post. I just posted a request trying to see if any other sitters do this sort of thing and I'm surprised to find someone here in KC! Great minds I guess.

I know your post is old and I'm sure your circumstances have evolved but I'd love to touch base with you to see what's going on in your world.
