About: I have 3 pit bulls that love their walks. I make sure my dogs are engaged on the walk with treats or lovin’s! I enjoy all dog breeds and I hope the dogs and the owners will enjoy me! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I would notify you with any emergencies or updates pertaining to my schedule. I have a fenced backyard with plenty of room to run around in. I’m very experienced on warning signs with dogs however I’m also very experienced with dogs in general. About: I have had all kinds of different pets, including dogs, cats, hamsters, hermit crabs, guinea pigs, and fish. I have also taken care of horses and saved a wild turtle. I will watch any kind of pet, even snakes and bugs. I have always been an avid animal lover and would love to meet and care for your pets! I am currently working at a grocery store part-time. I will need at least a one week notice so I can make sure I can be there for your pets. I have no other obligations besides making sure your pets are happy! About: Hi! I'm Taite- the owner of Paws & Peace Pet & House Sitting. As a teacher and lifelong animal lover, caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. I share my home with my two cats, Twix and Snickers, and grew up with dogs of all sizes—from a tiny Pomeranian to a Newfoundland/Great Pyrenees mix—so I'm comfortable and experienced with pets of all shapes and sizes. I'm Pet First Aid & CPR certified, fully insured, and have over 12 years of pet care experience. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care so you can have peace of mind while you're away. If you'd like to learn more about me and the services I offer, be sure to check out my Facebook page, Paws & Peace Pet & House Sitting! Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. As a teacher, I provide pet care before and after the school day, as well as during evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks. My schedule is carefully planned to ensure every pet receives the attention, exercise, feeding, medications (if needed), and companionship they deserve. Whether it's a quick drop-in visit, a leisurely walk, or overnight care, I prioritize reliability, communication, and consistency. Caring for animals isn't just something I do—it's something I genuinely enjoy, and I love building lasting relationships with both pets and their families. When caring for pets in a client's home, I strive to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow each owner's care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, fresh water, medications (if needed), potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I also make sure litter boxes, cages, or outdoor areas stay clean and tidy. Beyond caring for your pets, I treat your home with the same respect I would my own. I can bring in mail or packages, water plants, take trash bins to the curb, adjust lights or blinds if requested, and ensure your home remains clean, secure, and well cared for while you're away. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos throughout your time away, giving you peace of mind that your pets are happy, healthy, and in good hands.

I’m very appreciative of Sam, I message her the day of asking if she could help me out with my dog. And she gladly did so. She took plenty of photos to show me that my dog was having a great time. Would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
