About: I helped care for family dogs and cats since I was about five years old, feeding, giving water, walking and cleaning up after them until I was 18. I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. I'm currently looking for part-time work and would be more than happy to provide the love and care that your fur babies require in your absence. I'm also a newer driver and could really use the experience. Afternoons and evenings work best but please don't be shy about asking for morning services. Depending on the service and your pet's needs, I will spend as much time as they need whether it be a brief or long walk, cuddling on the couch, etc. I will be working part-time starting April 14, 2024. I will have a schedule ready sometime afterwards. Hopefully it will be in the next few weeks. I will keep your pet indoors for the most part, depending on the pet. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash when they go out for walks and to potty unless there is a fenced in yard.

I currently have 2 very high maintenance, mischievous Boxers who require enormous amounts of attention and supervision. Katie's relaxed, gentle approach with them is perfect. I dont know how she does it but when I return home my crazy boxers are completely chilled out, and CALM and I swear my house is cleaner than before I left!! I was recently left marveling as she was even able to trim my male boxers nails which I have never been able to do! =0 Katie recently provided care to my aging boxer, Harley (RIP) who had doggie dementia. She required daily medication and hand feeding several times a day. Katie provided regular updates on how my old girl was doing and I knew Harley was getting lots of extra love and cuddles. Katie is kind, dependable, respectful and most importantly, in my book - unflappable. She treats my pets like they are her own and makes every effort to accommodate my sometimes last minute needs for pet care. Her passion for all things animals is obvious and her experience with animals is extensive. She routinely goes above and beyond to provide excellent care and even took one of my dogs to my vet for an emergency visit while I was out of town. There is no one I trust more to handle my pet care/house sitting needs. Whether for extended stays or drop ins to stretch their doggie legs, get plenty of ear scratches and belly rubs, Katie is the one! Our dogs ADORE her and so do we!!! <3”

About: Any days you find I am unavailable or full please reach out as I may be able to add you on! Dog owners and especially dogs will love that I am comfortable with any breed of dog. No matter how big or small your pup may be. I understand that dogs take time to warm up to New humans in there life and some may need to take an extra sniff just so they no I am okay. I have a love for dogs and understand that dogs need exercise and that I am more then willing to supply. I am comfortable with administering any medication that your pup may need. I have years of experience loving on all types of breeds and am comfortable with them all. Your four legged furbabies will always feel loved with me as I believe in establishing a bond with the pup! I am currently a stay at home mom and my youngest is getting ready to start preschool! My days will be open to care for your furry friends! I have always been an animal lover and you can rest assured knowing that your furry companion will be safe and loved and of course cared for with me!

“I have used Janine for a number of years at various times to watch after my 3 indoor cats when I was away. My cats are a bit difficult because one had to be fed separately due to the fact that he would eat everything and leave nothing for his housemates! She would take him into the other room to play after he ate so the others could eat!! She would clean their litter boxes even tho she did not have to. She would spend time playing with them daily. She was wonderful with my cats & everything was spotless when I came back home. I would only leave Janine with my cats because I totally trusted her!”
