“Lyndsey is AMAZING! Very affordable and sent daily messages for an update while I was away from my fur baby. Her and her family loved my pup as their own and I would recommend her services to EVERYONE. Will def be using her again for future vacations.”

“My dogs are very needy and Allison & Nicholas catered to them! One dog has recently gone blind and she was carried and treated so well - making sure she knew where everything was. The other did food refusal because we were gone and they gently hand fed him - what a spoiled pup! Both dogs had wonderful outside time and were snuggled a lot. The daily pictures and videos made our hearts at ease. Thank you so much!!”

“Cory was very kind and made me feel so comfortable with leaving my pupper (Roko) with him. The communication was 100%, great amount of space for Roko to run off his energy and play, and just awesome understanding and care for him. I will be rebooking for the next time we have a family trip because my Roko felt so loved and comfortable and happy here.”

“Our 2nd visit to Katelin. Fantastic communication. Really appreciated the adorable daily update photos! Keke had a blast with her friends and was well taken care of. :)”

“Alex and Jayce were wonderful with our dog. So welcoming and very responsive. Our dog had a great time playing with their dogs. They sent great pictures and we could tell our dog was comfortable at their house. Would recommend to friends and family and will use them again!”

“Natalie is an amazing person. She took such incredible care of my 5 month old puppy while I was away for a week. Always sent pics of him. Highly recommend!!!!”

“Heather was awesome! She took great care of Leo and was quick in communicating. We would definitely rebook and would recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming place for your pup! Thank you!”

“April and her family were great hosts for our dog. Finn got much attention. I appreciated the photos April sent as well. I knew Finn was in good hands. Thanks.”

“Mindi did a great job. Gizmo needed extra care due to his age she handled it like a pro! Gizmo needed meds and used an inhaler and had an ear infection at the time. I highly recommend Mindi she is very attentive and takes special care when dog sitting!”

“Mrs Nan and her family were the perfect choice for my pup's first pet sitter. My rogue can be stand offish with new people since she was adopted right before COVID-19 start. Mrs. Nan was patient with her, loved on my girl as much as rogue allowed, encouraged her to eat when she was depressed, and checked on her through out the day when Rogue decided to hide in her crate instead of playing with Nate. I received multiple pictures and updates, and Mrs Nan was quick to answer questions on how things were going. I highly recommend using Mrs Nan, I plan to use her again.”

“Bentley has been going to Kristen's on regular basis since January. She is our favorite dog sitter. Bentley loves going there. It is like his second home. He has many regular friends and gets plenty of needed play time. She does wonderful job with photos and updates. We feel comfortable with leaving Bentley with her anytime!”

“Rebecca is fantastic. My doggo loves hanging out with her. She gives him lots of walks, attention, and hang time, while following our outline for his specific needs. He’s very calm and happy with her.”

“This is the first time we used Jami for our dog Lexi. Jami is very prompt with her responses and very friendly. She sent daily updates. Our dog had a great time and was very happy when we came to pick her up. We will be using her again and would recommend!”

“We were so lucky to have connected with such a great family at the last minute when our original sitter fell through. They helped him get warmed up with a meet and greet and then our 3 month old pup was excited to go back the next day to stay. He found his home away from for a week and was sad leaving his new friends. Diana and her family took great care of our boy while we were on vacation, helped house train him, and taught him a few commands. It was nice having peace of mind that he was in good hands and getting updates and pictures while we were missing our fur baby. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend!”

“Our pups had so much fun with hers and we got some cute photos of their stay! Easy communication and nice to know there's always someone there with the pups.”

“They took such great care of our dog (Bear)! They took him for walks and took lots of pictures of him having fun with the other dogs and feeling right at home! I knew he was in good hands, and they will be keeping him again!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
