About: I grew up on a farm, we had a little bit of everything! I showed cows in 4-H as a kid and rode in the SJRA rodeo for a while. Ive shadowed a vet clinics as a teen. As a adult I worked for Arkansas Animal Rescue Foundation for 4 years. We housed 35+ dogs, 70+ cats and 75+ horses. Ive raised wildlife off and on. Currently I have almost 30 chickens, 13 dogs, 2 cats, 1 rabbit and 1 VERY obnoxious yearling dairy bull!! I love all animals and find more fulfilling company with them than with people. I one day hope to be a animal behaviorist. I am honest, trustworthy and respectful. I make time for the things I love! And I don't have a set routine really. I'm a fly by the seat of my pants kinda girl. I will always make sure they have fresh water and clean bedding. Potty breaks of course. I will spend time interacting with any and all pets that want to play while respecting the ones that take their time becoming your friend (although I make it my soul mission to be their friend no matter what!) Clean up any messes they may have made. Always make sure everyone is accounted for!

7. Rachel W.
About: As I said, I have taken care of my own pets for the past 15 years. My neighbor's pet is more than happy with my services and thinks that I am an exceptional pet sitter. I treat animals with the utmost care and respect. I love animals and believe that the serve a purpose here on earth, just as we humans do. It is important to me just as it is to you to take good care of your pets. I would treat them as I would want you to treat my own. I am a firm believer in leaving something better than you found it. I realize this may be a metaphor here, but I think you get the gist of what I am saying.

8. Helen S.

“Excellent communication, daily updates, easy to work with, and my boys were clearly very well taken care of. Helen will absolutely be my first call when I need someone to watch my dogs. 10/10 recommend.”

9. Jasmine D.
“I highly recommend Jasmine as a dog care giver with Rover. She has been taking care of my Goldendoodle, Lucy, for the last 2 months, and I am so happy with the way she provides love, discipline (when needed), and active attention. Jasmine and her family are great at recognizing Lucy’s needs and putting them first. She regularly walks her, feeds her on a set schedule, and even sleeps with her. I am very confident in Jasmine, and I know any dog (and dog parent) would be lucky to have her!”

10. Kaleigha W.
“had the absolute pleasure of working with my sister Kaleigha n a recent project that involved handling some of the most well-behaved, but sometimes challenging, dogs. I’ve always known she had a special connection with animals, but seeing her in action was truly impressive. There was a situation where a dog got a little too excited during a witness testimony session, and things could’ve easily spiraled. But Kaleigha handled it with such calm and confidence, not only soothing the dog but also keeping everything running smoothly. Her patience and understanding with the dogs are unmatched, and it's clear she truly cares about their well-being. She has a natural gift, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with in that environment. Whether it's managing a tricky situation or just giving the dogs the attention they need, kaleigha knows exactly how to make everything come together beautifully. It’s always a joy working alongside her, and I’m proud to call her not just my sister, but a true professional when it comes to working with dogs.”

11. Drew L.
About: Lifelong dog person, aspiring animal trainer. I believe in fear-free, force-free methods and a calm, friendly approach. I am fit and can keep up with high-energy dogs. I am a professional trainer and former veterinary assistant who can help your dogs learn and exercise while staying safe and happy! I have a couple part-time commitments right now but lots of open time in my schedule and I would love the opportunity to work with as many dogs as possible. I believe in management first solutions to problems and giving the dog/dogs a healthy outlet for natural behaviors. Train with games, focus on the reward. Meet the dogs needs. Build communication, engagement and trust.
