“Jill was excellent with Stella. She cared for and loved Stella like she was one of her own. Stella went on nice long daily walks with Jill and sometimes she included her dog Murphy. This was good because Stella needs to lose some weight and the two dogs got along well and liked to play together. She always documented their walks thoroughly and shared pictures. Jill has watched my pets for decades and I 100 percent trust her with all of them.”

“Lacy had the best time on her walks with Abby. She was extremely reliable, sent lots of pictures and I knew from the first day Lacy was in good hands! About: Hello, fellow pet lovers! I’m a lifelong animal enthusiast with a heart full of love for all creatures great and small. My journey into the world of pet care started back in grade school with my first furry friend, a miniature schnauzer named Reno. I adored him from puppyhood to the bittersweet day I took him to the vet to say goodbye. Fast forward to 18, when I welcomed Tucker, the most amazing pit bull on the planet (I might be a bit biased!). I raised him from a tiny pup and trained him from day one, turning him into a superstar ambassador for his breed with a heart of gold. I live by the motto that "tired puppies are happy puppies!" A sprinkle of common sense and a hearty dose of patience can work wonders in raising happy, well-behaved fur babies. After 15 unforgettable years with Tucker (can you say "senior care"??), I said my goodbyes, but my passion for pet care is stronger than ever! While I don’t have a dog of my own right now, I’m eager to shower your pets with all my love and experience. But wait, there's more! I also raised a wonderfully quirky "barn cat" named Meredith—she's wider than she is long and blind in one eye, and she brings so much joy to our home! Alongside her are her two playful Siamese siblings, ensuring there’s never a dull moment. I’m well-versed in handling a few quirky challenges too, like using pine pellet litter for my cats with respiratory issues and administering medications when needed. Special diets? You bet I can manage that too! I can’t wait to meet your furry family members and provide them with the same love and attention I’ve given my own pets throughout the years. Let’s make tails wag and purrs abound! I work fully remote with an extremely flexible schedule. I'm an early riser--up around 5:30 every morning --and arrange my activities based on what works best for me. I do have conference calls which can be taken on the go. This is entirely dependent upon the needs of the pet and preferences of the parents. If we're talking about my place, I live in an apartment--don't panic. This apartment is situated amongst acres of farm fields on a small airport owned by my family. We're also just minutes from the rail trail and Chiques rock area. If in your home, we work based on your established routine. I'm very familiar with crate training but I'm also happy to have your furry friend tag along with me--I love taking fur friends to River Trail Brewing, super dog friendly, as well as meandering around Marietta or Columbia! If your preference is that we stay at your home and in your neighborhood then I'm more than happy to do that as well. Whatever makes you feel most comfortable and at ease. It's not very beneficial to hire help to presumably lighten your load if your time is then spent worrying about what's happening with your pet. My goal is to make sure you feel secure in the fact that your fur friend is safe and well-loved in your absence (long or short). That looks different for everyone so we will talk about your preferences and expectations to make sure you have exactly what you need to feel comfortable and confident.

About: I previously worked at a dog lodging facility, Playful Pups Retreat, as a Lodging Attendant. I stopped due to graduating college and accepting a full time job. I am mostly available anytime Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Monday through Wednesday I work out of town during the day. I can stop in early morning (before 6:30am) and later in the evening (anytime past 6). I have taken a dog first aid class in my previous job. I have handled dogs big and small and have dealt with all types of behavior.

About: I recently transitioned from the Veterinary field to human medicine! My life revolves around the safety and well-being of furry friends and their families! I've previously worked in the Vet/Animal Welfare field for three years and have 2 cats myself. I've always loved animals, have taken care of strays outdoors, rescued pups stranded outside and dedicated my education and life to helping animals thrive. I'm trained in reading dog and cat behavior/body language and have completed a course on Animal Behavior and Welfare. I'm also certified in Pet First-Aid and CPR and eager to meet you and your companions! I'm currently working full time at a hospital, but have a couple days off weekly, so I'd like to help some folks out who might be working as well or going out of town and need someone to watch over their fur babies, whenever I have some free time. <3 I practiced "fear free" standards in my workspace and will apply those same standards to your furry family members if/when they need to be bathed, crated, fed, walked, etc. Regardless of how trained a pup or kitty is or if your property has a fence, I do not believe in leaving animals outside unsupervised, so they're always being looked after, even while they enjoy some sunbathing. I do everything in my ability to make sure every animal I come into contact with is as comfortable as they can be.

“Our dogs love Sidney. I started out to show Sidney some of the sights. Once I left, Sidney picked up the pace because both she and Matey are young, strong and quick so Matey had a nice walk. Matey doesn’t have much experience being walked on a leash, but Sidney was patient and understanding. We can’t wait to have her back.”
