When I’m off the clock, I’m available to be at your home as much as you'd like, and I frequently stay overnight to keep pets happy and stress-free in their own space. Best of all, I'm completely free on weekends, so I can dedicate my full attention to your furry family members all weekend long. I do not usually watch animals in my own home, other than cats who are not outdoor cats & are experienced & good with other cats, since I have two of my own. I prefer to watch animals in their own home, as it lessens the stress for the animal (and my cats! haha)

I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.
About: I truly can’t remember a time where I didn’t have at least one (or ten) animals in my house growing up! Including my three-legged Chihuahua, energetic Catahoula’s, and rescue Aussie mix. I have been trusted to walk, care, and spend nights with pets of family, friends, and community members. I am able to do whatever your pet needs whether it’s a quick walk while you’re away or staying the night while you’re on vacation. I am able to be with your pet almost all day, with the exception of classes. I have worked in pet boarding for 4 years and have encountered many different situations and handled each accordingly. I know basic first aid for animals and I am very comfortable giving dogs medications (even if they aren’t fond of it). During walks I am attentive to my surroundings and am able to avoid stressful situations for your fur baby.

“I have a reactive (due to trauma) pit bull who makes a terrible first impression to the point where people cross the street when we are walking. She is so scared of new situations and other dogs, she becomes highly reactive to the point where most people avoid her. She has separation anxiety and takes medication to help, but new people, dogs, and environments are just tough for this dog. I can't trust just anyone to care for her or walk her. Kendra's energy made an immediate positive impact on my dog and I would trust her with any dog or cat. She's compassionate, thoughtful, and detail oriented. You couldn't wish for a better pet care professional than Kendra. My only advice is get on her calendar now because it fills up quickly! “I have a wonderful husky/Akita/elkhound who just passed his second birthday, and two elderly old bully mixes. Due to some unexpected health issues, my wife and I have had multiple instances of short term notice travel, as well as one planned vacation, of a week. After having Jeff watch my fur babies (the younger being rather enthusiastic by nature) I wouldn't trust the job to anybody else with the task. He's kind to all of our animals brings the pup home for overnights (which he Even got a teddy bear from) and everyone is always healthy and happy upon return. “Where should I start?? Well she trained my service dog at 17 who is known as her first client Ace who is a Golden Retrever. She is a very out going person, loves all types of animals from insects to amphibians, she was very hands on with my dog and me. She provided her own treats had her own method of training Ace. She later went on to train our brand new Husky Eskimo who she trained a in 2018 to also be a service dog for our daughter Maria. She walked the dogs occasionally she took them to the dog park, she bathed and groomed him for free. She’s raw hide free she does non human food treats. Buys fresh pig ears and buys the dog food fitting for my dog. Sent pictures of my dogs to me through out the day of her service, also took professional pictures of my babies for me after her service. Overall great service, very nice, communication skills are outstanding, and keeps you updated. Keep going Jaymaycia and I look forward to seeing you go forward”
