“Samantha has been such a welcome addition to my puppies life. I work long hours and my boyfriend goes out of town frequently so find a flexible and kind dog walker was important to us. Samantha has been so great, she is very flexible and is dedicated to treating our dog well. She also gives a lot of great puppy advice and has been a huge help on getting our puppy to walk better.”

“My boys can be a bit much when first meeting new people and the two together can be a little overwhelming.. Sandra has really been so good with them and they respond very well with her! We are thankful for her patience and the work she does with them ! Such a blessing for us!”

About: I am very energetic! I love to play outside with dogs. I love to play fetch and ball. I love to play in the sprinkler with dogs. I love to go on runs with dogs and make sure they are having the best time! I am always excited to play with dogs! I always make sure that they have the option to use the bathroom and always have access to water so they never get dehydrated. If they take any medicine, I make sure I have an alarm that lets me know it's time for them to take it! I always make sure that the dog feels comfortable at all times, and I always keep the owner updated to keep them comfortable and relaxed. About: Hi! My name is Fernanda, and I provide drop-in visits and dog walking in the Lillington area. I've always had a deep love for animals — I'm a dog mom to three myself: Cobain, Moonie, and Jalapeno, a senior dog who showed up at our house last year and never left. Caring for three dogs with very different ages and personalities has taught me to read each dog individually rather than treat care as one-size-fits-all. I understand your pets are members of your family, and my goal is to give them that same love, attention, and safety while you're away. I'm home most of the day, so a visit from me isn't rushed or squeezed in — your dog gets real attention, not just a quick in-and-out. As a dedicated pet parent to my own three dogs, my daily life is entirely built around a structured animal care routine. Because of this, my schedule is highly predictable and reliable. I manage my time carefully to ensure that your pets receive punctual feeding, on-time medication, and consistent potty breaks without disruption. Whether you need early morning check-ins or late evening drop-ins, I am organized, timely, and fully committed to keeping your pet’s normal routine exactly on track. Safety is my absolute highest priority. Managing a diverse three-dog pack with completely different sizes, breeds, and personalities—including a delicate senior dog—means I am hyper-aware of animal body language, stress triggers, and environmental safety. I strictly follow all entry/exit protocols to prevent escape artists from slipping out the door. I am patient, gentle, and highly experienced in tracking slow movements, administering oral medications, and recognizing when a pet needs quiet rest.

About: I have been trusted a magnitude of time to support families on trips watching their pets daily. I sent pictures and updates when I am there watching pets. Being in the military, I have days where I can come home early and I am there to support my pets needs and I most of the time give my dog a full of attention I make sure that their pets feel loved that they go on multiple walks a day to get out of the house and stretch out. I also make sure that they are well fed and hydrated.
About: With over three years of professional experience working at NoDa Bark & Board, Lucky Pup, and Camp Bow Wow, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My responsibilities included supervising group play, administering medications when needed, feeding, cleaning, monitoring behavior, and ensuring every dog stayed safe and comfortable throughout the day. I’m also Dog and Cat CPR certified, so your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I understand that every dog is unique, and I take the time to build trust while providing plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. As of right now, I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days of the week. I’m currently between jobs while waiting to begin graduate school in the spring, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. Toward the end of August, I’ll begin substitute teaching, but my availability will still remain flexible outside of school hours. Whether your pet needs daytime visits, overnight care, or weekend attention, I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. Having worked professionally in multiple doggy daycare facilities, I’m experienced in reading canine body language, preventing conflicts, and responding calmly in stressful situations. As a Dog and Cat CPR certified caregiver, I’m prepared to handle emergencies if they ever arise. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and love while keeping owners updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I've been around dogs all my life. My grandparents were breeders for Scotties, Cocker Spaniels and Terriers. My personal pets have been Velvet a cooker spaniel, Tobby a shepherd/lab mix, Doobee a shepherd/collie mix and my current cohort is Harley a 50 lb mixed breed rescue from texas. I have completed over 18 months of weekly training with Harley culminating with AKC canine good citizen certificate. What i learned from that experience was the importance and significance of consistency. Additionally that I am trained to be as consistent as possible in providing the type of care that you prefer for your pet. I'm retired so I am usually available anytime and can do same day appointments. I'm usually up before 6am and keep late night hours also so please feel free to contact me anytime. Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Clinton. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route , the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Clinton after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.
Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
