“Mariah did an amazing job with our dogs! She had great communication, paid attention to all the little details, and was so patient with our pups, who can be a bit nervous around new people. We really appreciated the care and kindness she showed them, and it gave us peace of mind while we were away. We would happily trust Mariah with our dogs again and highly recommend her!”

“I am so glad I found Anne. In the past, I have been fortunate enough to have family available to watch my pets. That’s no longer an option for me. Anne was highly recommended to me and I am so glad that she was available. She communicated well and was wonderful with my dog. I hope she is available the next time I travel.”

“Maddie was great with our Jax. She sent updates and photos while we were out of town. She gave him a lot of attention with walks and fetch. Would recommend Maddie. Very professional and great with dogs.”

“Teah was amazing! Great with communication and amazing with the dogs! Teah is very kind and the dogs loved her. I was not stressed at all when we were away. She checked in multiple times and sent lots of pictures. Definitely someone you can trust with your fur babies. I will definitely be reaching out to her again when we go away.”

“Caitlyn was amazing! She sent updates twice a day and always replied promptly to any messages sent. She did great with our temperamental cat. She took wonderful care of our pets and home, we came home to our house just as we left it and happy animals. I would definitely book her again in the future!”

About: I’ve never lived a day of my life without at least one dog in it. I’ve cared for my own, my neighbors and family. I worked for a dog daycare and boarding facility. I’ve administered medications including injections. I love to take them for walks, have play time, or just snuggle on the couch. I will treat your pup as if it were my own. I live in Billings but also frequent the Roberts, Joliet, and Red lodge areas, so consider me for overnights if you are out in that area. I work from home part time and am able to create my own schedule. This would be a fun and rewarding way to get out if the house. My dogs sleep in bed with me, but I would have your pets sleep wherever they are used to. I like to keep feeding on a regular schedule. 8am for breakfast and 6pm for dinner. I like to go for walks around 4, again keeping a schedule. Since I would be staying in your house, if you want, your pets would keep to whatever their regular routine is.
About: I work with pets that have major fear and trust issues. I have taught them how to be loving animals/pets. I also specialize in working with paralyzed dogs and understand how to meet their physical needs. I also have learned how to give medications in most circumstances. If your pet needs training skills, I incorporate this at no additional charge. Training includes: sit, stay, lay, leave it, turn, shake, not pulling during walks, etc. I can work at your home during the day if your home has secure WiFi otherwise I will have to work away part of the day. I will be away a few hours a day to check on my dogs while my roommate is working. They will get a lot of playtimes and walks if they have proper gentle leads provided for them. I have references from my current regulars and from our last shelter named LuckyK9 where we got our current dogs. I look forward to showing you how I communicate with clients during your meet and greet. I am work from home so pets will get extra attention. If dog sitting/boarding I will walk your dog 2 times a day and/or they will also get exercise playing with our dogs and myself. As long as your dog isn't a digger we have a fenced yard so your dog will be safe. If your dog is a digger I will let them out frequently and monitor them.
“Amaya was a great communicator and took great care of our large 2 year old lab. She sent us pictures and left our house how we left it. We highly recommend Amaya to take care of your pet(s).”

“She is so wonderful, as soon as we met Shayla the girls were already attached, she focused a lot on them during our two visits. She is a wealth of knowledge and good information. When we came home our house as clean as we left it, She sent us numerous pictures and we chatted about things”

About: Since 10 years ago I’ve enjoyed giving attention to dogs and cats and making them feel happy, active, safe, and giving the attention they want. I am self employed and sole business owner so jumping to a dog or cat need is easy for my schedule. I have high accountability and professionalism being a financial entrepreneur and loving dogs and cats as a side hobby here. I scan the environment and see what they like to do, I watch their behavior and compliment it or help guide them for behavior or their needs. Studying them and then making sure they feel happy, active, safe, and attention given!
About: I have worked as a Kennel Attendant for 4 years, as well as a slight training background! I have a well rounded understanding of pet behavior, and an extensive understanding for what is required to have a healthy and happy pet! I have worked and helped with a large range of animals and pets, including training with puppies and taking care of senior dogs. I work part time currently, so I have ample time to ensure pets are well taken care of and played with! There will be plenty of time to meet client needs, as well as pet needs! I understand routines and needs for animals, and what their needs look like. I am able to meet needs that an animal might need. My focus will be the comfort of the animal, and following their routines. I am able to walk, kennel, potty, feed, play, ect. with no problems! Body language and environment are important to read in an animal, and I have a well rounded understanding in that area! This means I am able to understand and respect an animals boundaries, even if they are not able to verbally communicate them.
About: I have taken care of my friends' dogs for a while. I love playing with them with full attention, and absolutely love going on walks. I am working part-time, so it fits well into my mornings. Pet care will fit well during the weekdays for me as well. I can be fully attentive with them. I have a fenced yard and a dog that can keep your dog company. I usually have access to a car to visit your furry friend again.

“I contacted Hannah within 10 days of needing her to house sit and watch my dachshund, Buster. She responded in 24 hours and came over for a meet and greet prior to her housesitting. Buster has some pooping/sleeping/eating peculiarities, and she was great with him. I hope to have her again.”

“I was worried about finding the right person for my recently relocated adoptee who has a bit of a bad attitude. Gabreella was super professional and sweet with Alley. She took care of my house over the holidays and helped make it a less stressful trip for me and for Alley. I definitely recommend her.”

About: My family fosters numerous animals, so I have a ton of experience taking care of newborn kittens/puppies who need a little bit of extra TLC! I work part time, and I love to hangout with animals in my free time. This usually consists of a good walk or just some quality time! In my home, I have 3 dogs and 4 cats, so we have a full house. We have an unfenced yard, but we have a run in the backyard.

About: I know how it feels to leave your furry friends home alone. I’m here to give them the care they need so you can have peace of mind! I work a very flexible job that allows me to come and go. Weather you need someone to check in on your cat during the day, or take your pup for regular walks I’m your gal! I do not offer pet care in my own home. I am happy to offer services in your home! Where your animals feel most safe and comfortable.
About: I've had dogs and cats since I was a baby. We bred Jack Russel Terriers when I was a kid, and these days we rescue and foster abandoned cats in the countryside. I have experience with pets and animals of all kinds. I have a very open availability and can take clients at almost anytime. If you need someone in a pinch, I'm your guy any time. In a client's home I will respect their home as a guest and follow all instructions with great care. I'm a clean and careful person who's only concern is your pet's safety, security, and well-being.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 154 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Cline. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Cline walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Cline maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cline choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cline. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 91% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
