About: I’ve had animals from childhood and love learning about all of their special requirements so that they thrive and are happy. I’ve received multiple trainings in pet first aid and never leave the house without being prepared. I have room in my schedule morning, lunch, and evening walks and feeding. I have limited space to take your dog to my home for boarding. I have plenty of property but would keep your dog on a leash when going outside. I have two dogs who are very dog friendly and make friends easily. They just love to chase the ball and love life. I am extremely conscientious; my dogs are very well cared for. I bring that same level of care to everything that I do.

About: Hi, I’m Abigail! I recently moved back to the Hudson Valley to develop my career in the environmental field. I’m currently working part-time at a native plant nursery. When I'm not spending time nature and with plants, I love caring for animals! Growing up with animals in my household ranging from cats to dogs (to even turtles and birds) has given me an affinity to not just adore all types of animals, but has given me the proper skills to understand the responsibility of caring for an animal. I understand that all animals are unique in what makes them feel comfortable and loved and will always do what is best to ensure the safety and comfortability of your pet! For dogs: - A meet and greet would be a great idea beforehand to get to know both you and your dog, so I can provide the best service possible! - I love being outdoors as much as I can, so I plan to take your dog for long walks as much as I can! - As for potty breaks, I think three times a day is the absolute minimum. Once in the morning, afternoon, and before bedtime. However, if I am not working, I can take them out as much as you/they desire! - Maintaining your pets feeding routine is very important to and I take special care to be considerate of any special dietary care you dog needs. - Lastly, I know it can be hard for some animals to be separated from their loved ones. I will make sure they are feeling loved while they are under my care. For cats: - I currently care for an orange tabby rescue, named Hugo, who can be a bit needy, (although him being special only makes me love him more!), so I understand that cats can require a lot of attention and love, and I will ensure to give them plenty while they are under my care. - Cleanliness is very important when caring for cats, as the owner and of a cat, I know my cat can get upset if his litter box is not kept in pristine condition, and when caring for your cat I will do the same! - Diet is just as important for animals as it is for humans. Feeding your pet according to their needs is something I will take seriously. I work part time, Wed - Sat, however I can be pretty flexible to accommodate your schedule. If I am unable to meet the needs requested I will be sure to give as much notice as possible. In a clients home, I like to keep things tidy and work within the boundaries discussed with the client. Cleanliness is important to me and I appreciate staying in homes that are kept in generally good condition. I try to mirror the animal's usual routine in a home and prioritize everyone’s comfortability.

About: I have been around animals all my life. Born in the country, cows and horses are most common, but I’ve come to love having dogs, cats, and reptiles of my own! There has never been an animal I couldn’t warm up to, and I love getting to know every pets unique personality. I DO OWN PETS, I just am not offering boarding services or requesting sitting services so I would prefer not to share their details! I am always willing to move around my schedule to better fit my clients needs! I have a ride ai depend on for now while I’m learning to drive so I cannot be out too late unless I’m staying the night. I prefer to pet sit or walk pets at other homes, not my own, as I have a reactive dog with history of abuse, and she is not amicable with other pets.

We walk the trails in our neighborhood and often go to local parks to explore different places. I typically follow your every directive because all dogs needs are different. If you tell me your dog doesn’t enjoy the heat of the summer, we will be couch potatoes in the air conditioning. I am proficient in giving medicines and subcutaneous shots. I collect mail, water plants, do light housework, and send daily reports with pictures. When you book me, you get a full time Pet Sitter! I move into your home for the duration of the stay and only leave for normal daily errands. Do you normally work from home and your pet is not used to being alone for long periods? No worries, I'm your girl! I do my best to keep your pet on their normal schedule. Their routine is disturbed enough with your absence, it's my job to pamper them while you're gone.

About: From the moment I was born I was around animals, wild and domestic. My first dog was a 110+ pound Chow/Shepherd mix, she was very protective and territorial and took it upon herself to protect me and my sibling from any bullies on our street, from then on I've had a deer head rescue chihuahua named Prue she was my best friend, followed me everywhere, two 110+ pound Native American Shepherds, three cats one old named Milo, a very hyper and playful kitty name Cleo, a sweet loving sensitive tuxedo cat named Marley, a Terra fish named Ruby, a beautiful tropical bird named AU, two Guinea pigs named Opie and Didley, three turtles, one red eared slider named Jack, two painted turtles a big one named Perry and a smaller one I found named Damien, a black rescue lab named Jack Jack with a injured ear and no tail, a grey cat named Tom Tom who followed my fiance home from a fire station, a little apple head chihuahua corgi mix named Willow who was found in the streets of New Orleans after a flood, I've been around disabled animals my whole life, a cat who's tail was injured and had to be removed, a roudy white poodle mix who was born with half a paw, I've gone to interactive zoos and played with the animals, every animal I meet instantly loves me as I approach them with a warm welcoming energy and show them that we are on the same level, yet I'm dominant in training scenarios. Across my street lives 3 dogs and a cat named jerry, sweet pups Pablo, Matilda and Bailey, Bailey is an old paranoid shitzu with a therapy jacket that makes her more docile, if you're not in the sun rubbing her belly she can't see clearly and assumes you're a threat, so I approach her with loving speech and body language, Matilda is a very emotional rescue who is older and very docile and sad until she met Pablo a 1 year old puppy crossbreed, he keeps her young and spry, he has beautiful white teeth and hair, I am very interested in the upkeep of your animal's physical, emotional, environmental and mental wellbeing. I will pamper your loved ones to the highest degree while also showing them how to act in a strangers house without being scared, homesick, nervous or rowdy. :) I've been around all types of animals caged, untrained, unspayed in heat animals who need extra care and attention, I am exploring animal behaviors, training and pet sitting animals of all walks of life, I am also attempting to train the neighborhood Squirrells and chipmunks to eat food out of my hands and avoid the road, I know bird calls and how to attract owls, hawks, butterflies and most social animals. When I was young I hand fed a wild doe and Bambi as we called him, a calm baby deer. My father lives in the Catskill mountains and since birth I've played with, caterpillars, ants, daddy long legs, peepers, frogs, toads, tadpoles, and threw back all the fish my dad caught. I have a photo of my younger self in preschool approaching a praying mantis that had got into the classroom, all the kids were screaming and I'm seen holding and playing with him until I brought him back outside. All the bugs I find in my house I trap and release back into the wild including ants, spiders, stink bugs, bees, lady bugs, inch worms and more. I feel that all living things deserve respect and empathy. I am very interested in the upkeep of your animal's physical, emotional, environmental and mental wellbeing. About: I have taken care of many types of animals- specifically cats and dogs! I have had numerous pets throughout my life, and currently have 2 cats of my own! I understand the love and admiration we have for our furry family members, and I bring that care and attention to every animal I meet. I am willing to negotiate pet care services, especially in circumstances of multiple pets, extended stays, etc. Please reach out if you have any questions! We can work something out! I am a graduate student taking night classes, so I can be available morning and midday, as well as most weekends. My schedule does vary week to week, but this can be overcome with coordination and communication! I am very attentive to my pets needs, making sure they have regular veterinary visits, are well fed, clean and cared for. Some pets also require exercise, so that can be a necessity.

I have been primarily working as a pet nanny for 5 years for someone who traveled to Europe on a monthly basis. They are staying in Europe indefinitely so I am looking to add some new clients.
