About: I’ve loved and cared for all kinds of animals throughout my life. With dogs specifically, I have experience with puppies, adults, seniors, anxious pets, and multi-pet households. I’ve also administered medications and supported senior pets through end-of-life care. Before changing majors, I studied pre-veterinary medicine, and I have volunteered with several animal rescues. As a pet parent myself, I know how stressful it can be to choose the right person and leave your animals in someone else’s care. Before a booking, I prefer to learn about your pet’s routine, personality, triggers, medical needs, and what helps them feel comfortable. I carefully follow all instructions for feeding, medications, walks, and household routines. During walks, I double-check collars and harnesses, keep dogs securely leashed, and remain attentive to our surroundings. During drop-ins and overnight stays, I’m mindful of doors, gates, and other potential escape points. I’ll treat your home with respect and will never bring another person into it without your permission. You’ll receive as many updates, photos, and videos as you’d like, so you always know what your pet is doing and how they are feeling. If I notice any concerning changes in their health or behavior, I’ll contact you promptly.

About: Ive taken care of many pets with specialized needs. This includes routine medicine and eye drops for the elderly, frequent belly band changes changes for those with bladder issues, and calming treats for those fearful of storms. Im quick to learn each dogs bathroom tells to avoid any unwanted accidents. I also have fishkeeping experience with 2 freshwater fish tanks at home. So if youre fish needs feeding or water quality checks I can handle that was well. I am currently working a part time internship with flexible hours, which allows me to care for furry babies in my free time! Weekends are typically busy, however with enough notice I can make them work. House rules are always respected, no matter how much a dog wants couch cuddles or if the cat likes the view from on top of the counter.

I work a wonky schedule but the animal or persons baby also comes first! I am fully available 7 days a week! About: I have been around animals for nearly all of my life, and have made it my life mission to assure the care and comfort of as many of them that come into my path as possible. As a former senior level kennel worker at a doggy daycare, a previous small animal specialist at various retail stores, and with animal shelter volunteer hours under my belt, I am surely qualified and would be elated to take care of your babies when you’re either away or have other priorities to focus on. As of a few months ago, I was working full time at a doggy daycare in Hughesville, where I fed, bathed, walked, and played with clients dogs all day. For over 2 years I was one of our two Senior staff members, meaning that I was also responsible for running the daily staff and assuring the safety and security of the pets at the facility. My additional duties included keeping track of feeding schedules, medication, and potty breaks to ensure the health of the animals as well. I love animals with all of my heart, as it is my life mission to assure each animal that crosses my path gets the maximum amount of care and love that I can give them (even if that’s just a head pat for a baby passing by!!) I currently do not work full time at the moment, as my priorities have shifted toward finishing my college degree at UMD, most of which is online, giving me more than enough time in my schedule to care for animals that I would be responsible for, whether that be feeding, walking, petting, or all of the above! I also am comfortable with house-sitting with the animals, and have had plenty of experience doing so. I typically very early mornings, and am awake until around 11, but that can always be adjusted per need request. Personally, my dog always came to my work with me where he was able to be around me for the majority of the day. When we are home, he is walked before my morning coffee, and every 4 hours after that. I have a pretty decent sized yard, and he loves playing fetch with any ball when we aren’t on walks. My baby only likes to eat at nighttime, so that’s when he is fed, as he is a small boy who would prefer to leave his food alone during the day. Understanding each individual dog, not only what nutrients they require, but how exactly they should eat as well, is very important. When we are not walking on a leash or playing in the yard, he is inside my home where we play with his favorite plushie toys! Come afternoon time, he gets one, out of a selection of delicious treats to assure his happiness and comfort throughout the day. Whatever way that the client prefers, I would assure the same level of happiness and comfort with their dog too!

About: I have had pets all of my childhood and adult life, and my passion for them has only grown. I'm passionate about learning more about the many species of animals. Throughout the years, I have volunteered, taken care of family and friends' dogs, and acquired my own pets. While I attend college, I am now working part-time as a preschool teacher! I have an abundance of time to work and spend with your animals. My home has a dedicated pet room (for either dogs or cats) that is cleaned every day.
