Perfect - Really! - sitting experience (5 days) for my very active dog. Communication with Marlina was great, wonderful location for many walks, and cozy, friendly home and personal care for my little girl. Trust was easy after my pre-visit. All went smooth and flexible, and Skye came home fully refreshed and happy - much better than kennels lately. Look forward to using Marlina again. Kind of tripped into Rover online having never imagined trusting an online sitter/site for my dog. Marlina was a great representative for Rover. Thank You!

About: With 15 years of hands-on pet care experience—including a decade caring for a cat with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) and an elderly dog who required specialized support—I’m comfortable meeting a wide range of pet needs. I provide reliable, attentive care such as walks, feeding, playtime, and close adherence to established routines. These experiences have shaped me into a patient, compassionate, and dependable sitter who truly treats every pet like my own. I work from home in a flexible position, allowing me to adjust my schedule around both my own pets and the pets I care for through Rover. Being home throughout the day means your pet will receive consistent supervision, timely walks, feedings, potty breaks, and plenty of attention and companionship—never long stretches alone. I care for pets in my home by keeping their routines as normal as possible with regular meals, walks, playtime, and lots of attention. Since I work from home with a flexible schedule, pets are rarely left alone and get plenty of supervision and companionship. I aim to create a calm, comfortable environment where pets feel safe and at home.

About: Responsible pet sitter with over 20 years experience. My husband 3 children and I run a small homestead. We have our family dogs Penny and our big girl Maggie, 2 cats named lamb and cow, bunnies, pigs and chickens. I have experience with small and large livestock. And have Volunteered time fostering dogs for PAWS in state college. I have experience with and assisting the delivery of animals, administering medications, following specific feeding schedules, and providing companionship and exercise. I’m a stay at home mom with 3 children. We do go to church on Sunday's. We would be gone Sunday's for about 3 hours in total. Unless it’s soccer season we are home! We have a fenced in front yard and our back yard leads into the woods. We have areas for a dog to be completely fenced in if needed as well. We spend a majority of our summer days outside. We live in a 2 story home, pets will be on the main floor in our home. Our stairs have gates for the bottom and top. Our animals are welcome on the couch but if this is a no no for you we will respect that. Our dogs are crate trained and sleep in their crates at night. Our cats have free range of our home but spend most of the time in the basement.

Great pet sitter! Madalynn was super responsive and sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. My dog had immediate access to her backyard and seemed very comfortable in her house. My dog came back very happy and tired after lots of fun playtime with Madalynns dogs. I also appreciate the thoughtful reporting on how much my dog ate, etc. Super pleased and would definitely recommend.

Max took great care of my Plott hound Jax. Jax loved playing with Max’s own dogs. Jax has tons of energy and is very difficult to leash walk. Max suggested a solution for that and now I have no trouble walking Jax.

But I’m always willing to meet and enjoy time with all animals! Anytime after 3:30pm works for me on weekdays! On weekends I work just on Saturdays 11:00- whenever! I enjoy all different sized dogs especially the ones with goofy personalities! I have two cats that are dog friendly! I always have an area to keep them or your puppers separate if they are to energetic! We constantly go out and walk around and love playing with the neighbors dogs! My yard is unfortunately not fenced in but we always work around it!

About: I have cared for many different types of animals since I was a child. Dogs, cats, bunnies, rats and hamsters. Fostered and lived with many dogs. I currently have dogs and cats. They are the joy of my life especially since the kids (and grand dogs) have grown and moved. Couldn’t imagine life without them. I have two dogs and 2 cats to keep the fur guests company. Lots of play time in the fenced back yard. And snuggles on the couch.
