“Bill was great, we felt very comfortable leaving our dog with him for the week. He was able to give our dog his medication, took him on daily walks, and gave him lots of love and attention!”

“First time using River and was very happy to have found Paige to keep my dog Skippy. The communication was great! I received daily updates with pictures! I will definitely continue to use Rover and hopefully Paige will be available!”

“Ashlee greeted our dog first at a “meet and greet” at a local park and our pup was calm and comfortable. During our trip, Ashlee updated us on how her first 24 hours went and how she enjoyed playing with the other dogs. On our way back, approaching the Dayton area, she was kind enough to give Pippa a bath. Ashley’s provided kind, observant care to our young dog while we saw family out of state and we couldn’t be more pleased.”

“She really helped me out and she let me extend extra days on short notice and she just didn't absolute great job with Carhartt I am will definitely have her as my number one go to for babysitters”

“Nathan had a blast! Because normally he gets scared going with strangers but the second day he didn’t even bother to look back. They are amazing with Nathan and great with communicating about him as well.”

“Maggie loved staying with Lisa. She came back home clearly happy and well. Got daily reports and pictures. She was very professional and kind. Definitely will take Maggie back when needed.”

“Hatsuki is a wonderful mommy for my kitty, Vivi. She is genuinely compassionate and a caring person for the animals who cannot talk. She gave a very comfortable home for Vivi during her stay. Thank you, Hatsuki, for all you have done to me and my kitty. Vivi said she was happy to have met you, and looking forward to meeting with you again. Many thanks for your kindness. Makiko”

“Well Sadie must have had a good time she was wore out I'm sure with playing with the children I know she loves little children and dogs everything went well is expected”

“I highly recommend Jessica! It was obvious she is a ‘dog whisperer’, gentle soul, who will make your dog feel like they are at home! She sent daily photos, videos, updates, gave my dog her monthly & quarterly medication, provided her a comfy crate to sleep in, and a kiddy pool filled with strawberries! And there’s 3 dog friends to bond with! My fur baby had a loving spa experience! Book with Jessica!”

“Karin was absolutely amazing! She opened her home up to my puppy Bentley! She gave exceptional care to him. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable! She gave updates throughout the days she kept him and he even interacted with her dog. I give her 12/10 stars. She was absolutely wonderful and trustworthy with my baby boy!”

“I can not recommend Karen more than enough. She took care of my two dogs for an overnight stay and they were well taken care of. They came back tired and relaxed and you could tell they had the time of their lives. She integrates your dogs into her pack and makes sure everyone gets along. She sends tons of pictures so you always know what your pups are up too. She responds quickly and put a lot of my fears about leaving my dogs with a stranger at ease. I immediately felt comfortable with her after our meet and greet and the dogs love her too. The dogs can’t wait to go back!!”

“Minty watched our large dog for 8 days in her home while we were out of town and we had an amazing experience with her. She sent us multiple daily updates and made us and our dog feel comfortable. We would definitely have her watch our dog again in the future!”
“First time using Kristi for my 2 dogs while out of town for work. She was wonderful, invited me to bring my dogs over before to check everything out and meet her. Her accommodations were just perfect and it was nice to have someone closer to home, especially for last minute situations. During their stay I checked in twice and got immediate responses about how they were doing, followed by videos. This was great as my dogs are my kids and rarely away from me or my husband. I 100% recommend Kristi and will use her services again! Thank you for taking such great care of my kiddos !”

“Tara was wonderful!!! This was my first time using Rover and she was great. Tara communicated well and often and provided updates about my dogs. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my babies!”

“Elya was by far the best dog sitter we’ve found on Rover. She was so intentional to spend time with our dog, taking her on walks and giving her a bath during her stay. It felt like we were dropping our dog off at a friends’ house rather than just a boarding place. Easily 5 stars!!!”

If you're looking for someone to take care of your special member of the family and want to truly enjoy time away without worrying, I highly recommend Lydia. This was my second time I had ever left Charlie with someone I didn't know well, I was a little nervous. However, from the moment I met Lydra, I immediately felt comfortable and confident that Charlie was in good hands. Lydia took special care of him and was incredibly attentive and responsive throughout his stay. She kept me updated every day with messages and pictures, which gave me a great sense of peace and allowed me to enjoy my time away know Charlie was safe, happy, and well cared for. Therefore, if you are looking for someone you can trust to care for your furry family member, I would definitely choose Lydia. Charlie was well taken care of, and I will absolutely use her again! Marilyn

Bill & Cheryl are kind and thoughtful. Have joined the club of “friends of Louis”. It is wonderful to take a vacation and know that you need not worry about the care of your fur baby. Louis hardly noticed when we arrived to pick him up, which is always a sign of a peaceful time. I highly recommend Bill, as his love for dogs and care taking of Louis was exceptional.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
