About: Hello! My name is Kaylee, I am 23 years old and my biggest personality trait is my love for animals. If you were to ask someone who knows me, they may say “that girl with the zoo? I currently have 5 pets, who I consider my children, and that is the least amount of animals I have ever owned at once. (Only due to apartment living.) Caring for animals is my comfort and passion, it truly brings me joy. I have never lived a day without pets- and I don’t want to, so, I focused my career around them. However, I’m still in search of more! I am currently a manager at a dog boarding facility part time, and I love my job, but I would love to find more local work. At my facility, I am currently managing multiple groups of up to 20 free ranged dogs at a time. I have worked with nearly every dog breed out there, and I have loved them all. I have experience in handling many medical conditions in dogs, such as anxiety, allergies, seizures, joint issues, diabetes, asthma, and many more. I also have experience in administering a multitude of medications, including inhalers and insulin. I am currently working part time, and my work days are typically the same each week. I am unavailable on my work days during hours 4 AM- 3 PM, but I would love to work with you any other time! The approach I take to care for a pet depends on the pets temperament and needs. As I have probably met over 2,000 dogs at this point- I understand that each dog is different. Some may want constant affection, and I’m more than happy to give that! “Amazing! Jamie is one of the best sitters we’ve ever used. Before she even got to the house, she was very patient with our changing travel plans, which had honestly become a bit of a nightmare as work constraints evolved and our dates kept shifting. We had her stay with our two dogs and small flock of chickens - a bit on the unusual side of Rover bookings. One of our dogs is a very timid rescue and the other is a slightly crazy young blue heeler mix, so they have very different personalities and needs. Jamie was wonderful with both - she had the timid one eating and letting her get near within the first few hours; normally this is a 2-3 day process! She seemed to have great intuition about dog behavior and knew exactly what to do to gain his trust. The active heeler didn’t seem to throw her at all either, and both pups were quite happy and healthy when we got back. In addition to being a superb canine communicator, Jamie was also a great human communicator and was proactive with reaching out to our additional contact when a question came up and it was the middle of the night where we were. I felt like she was on top of absolutely everything and had no anxiety about her ability to handle any dog/house/chicken things that might occur while we were away. To top it off, we came back to a clean house that was exactly as we left it - she even washed the sheets and remade the bed, which was extremely appreciated after getting back from overseas and quickly turning to back-to-school mode. We will definitely call Jamie the next time we need a sitter!”

Every walk is just two dogs at most, so your pup gets real time and attention. I always send photo updates along the way so you can see how they’re doing. I welcome dogs of all sizes who are friendly with other dogs, cats, and people. For boarding, I have a large fenced backyard and keep things small and relaxed — more like a home than a kennel. Fridays are my day off, so walks are unhurried and get my full attention. At the entrance, we have a paw-cleaning station, where every time the dogs go out or come back in, we wash their paws with dog-safe soap and water before letting them walk freely inside the apartment. I’m happy to share details about the soap I use, and if your pet has any allergies or needs a specific type of shampoo, please let me know so I can use their own product and ensure their comfort and safety. 🧼🐾 It’s also very important to let me know if your dog has any food allergies or follows a strict diet. Sometimes a small piece of fruit, a bit of cheese, or a treat dogs love 🧀🍎 might sneak its way in —and I always want to make sure everything your pet receives is completely safe. 💕🐶 For Drop-Off and Pick-Up, you’re welcome to come right up to my door to say goodbye to your furry friend, or if you prefer, you can sit on the porch for a few minutes to have a calm and loving farewell. The same applies when you come for pick-up —I want both you and your pet to feel relaxed and supported during that transition. 💛🐾 🐾 I’m also very flexible with schedules and family needs. If you live nearby, I can offer free pick-up for your pet. If you’re a bit farther away, I can still help with transportation for a small, low fee, just to cover travel costs.
