“Jenna did a wonderful job with our cats, they absolutely loved her. Jenna is an excellent communicator and followed all care instructions and was not afraid to ask if there was something she was unsure about. I would absolutely recommend her.”

About: *** NEW CLIENTS A MEET AND GREET IS REQUIRED BEFORE ANY RESERVATION CAN BE ACCEPTED*** My dogs are my family and they are treated that way! Tons of love, care and cuddles. Every night they go to bed tired from all the excitement throughout the day. Day usually starts with going outside to potty and some like to go back to sleep which is fine. Then the pups get a good brush down, teeth brushed, nails checked, if they need trimming, they get trimmed, ears checked and cleaned. Then it's on to outside play time. Different activities for different levels of activity, from a vigorous game of fetch, with either different balls or Frisbee, to hide and seek! Some like to just lay out and sun bathe and we have outside doggie cots for that. Rainy days means indoor activities. We can get really creative with what we do, but they always have a good time. Usually in the late afternoon/evening time, we do training sessions. I've learned that dogs tend to be able to pay more attention when they have expelled some energy beforehand. Just basic training, sit, stay, down, come. Then we also work on manners, like waiting for the humans to go outside first while they wait at the door until we give the okay. Special occasions, we can go for a nice nature walk through the woods. At night, we may just relax on the front porch and watch the stars come out. Bed time, our dogs have big comfy beds and crates, but mostly they just love to sleep curled up next to us on the beds. Your dog will be well care for if they stay with us. **********************************************NOTE: DOGS PICKED UP AFTER 5PM ON PICK UP DAY, WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL DAY CARE FEE OF $27 FOR THE LATE PICK UP **DOGS ARE REQUIRED TO BE UP TO DATE ON SHOTS BEFORE THEIR VISIT AND A COPY OF UP TO DATE VET RECORDS ARE REQUIRED** ** PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PET IS PROTECTED FROM FLEAS AND TICKS. MY DOGS ARE PROTECTED YEAR AROUND. IF YOUR DOG HAS FLEAS WHEN THEY ARE DROPPED OFF, THERE WILL BE AN EXTRA CHARGE FOR THE TREATMENT OF FLEAS FOR YOUR DOG AND THE HOUSE, NO EXCEPTIONS! *** ***DOGS MUST BE HOUSEBROKEN. IF YOU HAVE A PUPPY THAT IS FINE BUT IT MUST BE HOUSEBROKEN**** *** PLEASE HAVE YOUR DOG INFO FILLED OUT, SO I CAN HAVE THE INFO UP FRONT. IF NOT, PLEASE HAVE YOUR DOG INFO IN THE COMMENTS WHEN YOU MAKE ANY REQUEST. THANK YOU*** Pet care is my daily routine. From sun up to sun down, almost everything I do involves the animals in some way. From hikes around the farm to tending to the other farm animals, the dogs are with me helping or supervising, as some like to do. I have a large fenced in yard. Dogs are always supervised inside and outside of the house. Safety is one of my main concerns with my animals, that and their happiness!

About: I’ve take care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. When your pets meet me they will sense I’m a friend. I love to be around animals and taking care of them. I can pet and brush your dog, go for walks, play with them, and follow your directions to feed your dog. If you give me a chance I know you and your dog will be happy with my care. I work part time from home so I have time to take care of your pets. I just need to know what times you want care and I can make my s heckle work around that. I’m very flexible and open to making things work. I’ll go to your home and make sure I get your dog on a leash before we go for a walk. If I’m just visiting I’ll make sure I enter your house and calmly greet your dog so he doesn’t get fired up. Then sit down and pet him and play. Then I can get him fed and we can play some more after that if he wants to. I try my best to keep your dog calm as we get to know each other and then we can play and make sure he’s taken care of,
About: I was blessed as a child to have a life long pup. She was 15 years old so she grew up with me. Now I have 3 pups of my own that my children get the opportunity to grow up with! I have 2 doodles (one aussiedoodle, and the other is a Bernedoodle) the 3 red is a little Yorkie who I say is the “old grandpa” of the group! 🤣 I love every dog just as it would be my own. I have pup sat for several people but now thought I’d offer my services to others now as well. I look forward to meeting all of you as your pups or kitties! I work full time, but I can do weekends for drop ins, as well as evenings and early mornings. I’m am very open to talking about what your needs are as well. I like to see what you do with your pets daily, so that I can follow what you typically do during the day. I know animals do best when you can adhere to a schedule. 😊

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
