About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes. From basic training of puppies to elder care, hospice care and administering medication. I’m patient, kind and enjoy all energy levels. Whether they are movie & couch potato pups, prefer swimming at the river or playing ball in the meadow, I’m always excited to give them the best time they can have. I work a rotational schedule allowing me to have blocks of 3 weeks off at a time. During that time I am fully available for any pet care needs. have over 3 acres of woods & meadows for frolicking that back up to more wooded areas, I’m a short drive from two beautiful river walks or swimming (seasonal). I do have crates available if needed. I have a good selection of pet basic first aid and hygiene supplies.

About: Hi I’ve owned black labs and my senior German Shepard recently passed. There are no dogs in my house. If you let me watch your dog he/she would get a lot of play time, exercise and treats if allowed. I also take care of my son’s Irish wolfhound when he goes on vacation. I’m currently working part time. My 13 year old German Shepard recently passed so I thought I would be able to assist other dog owners. I have a nice, clean home for your pet along with fenced in yard. I would be available whenever needed. I am an attentive pet parents. I have a fenced yard, spare rooms if needed for quiet time. You would have no worries if i cared for your pet.
About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. While we both work full time, we can still meet your needs. Weekdays or weekends, we’ve got you covered! Rest assured, your pets will be on a consistent schedule, just like ours! We have a full acre of land with plenty of space for dogs to run, play, and explore. Our property is set far back from the road, with an electric fence and a secure run for pups who can’t be off leash. There’s even a doggie pool for hot summer days, outdoor dog beds for lounging, and lots of toys for playtime. Our own dogs are friendly, trained, and social — they love meeting new furry friends and joining us on adventures. Whether it’s a hike, trip to the creek, or a visit to a dog-friendly store, we make sure our pets (and yours!) enjoy life to the fullest. We understand how important it is for your pets to feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. We take introductions slowly and carefully, provide separate spaces when needed (including a calm, cat-only room), and can accommodate crate-trained dogs with our double crate setup and baby gates for added security. You can feel confident that your pets will be treated with the same love, attention, and care that we give our own.
About: Hello! Animals have been my passion since I was a little girl. I have worked at a dog daycare for 3 years and now am currently working as a Tech at a Veterinary Clinic now going on for 6 years! I am so lucky to be surrounded by animals everyday and always learning new things about each and every animal. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
