Excellent rover. Charlie had a blast playing with their girls and other clients dogs. They made sure he got his one on one time and others needs as I had requested. Very knowledgeable on dog training and caring for them. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a Rover sitter. Will most likely schedule there again if available when need. Thank you Ashley & Brian.

Caterina proved to be the perfect sitter for my senior dog Max. She sent updates and it was evident that she truly cares about what she does. Max came home happy and energetic—not always the case with some boarding kennels. I cannot recommend her more highly, and Max and I look forward to his staying with her again.

I could not have been happier with Destiny. She is very professional and did a great job taking care of Bruiser. She sent me daily updates of how he was doing along with pictures to show how happy he was. It was so much better than leaving him at a kennel and I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing he was well taken care of! I will definitely use Destiny again!

Bee was absolutely wonderful! She seemed to have a magic touch with my goldens Daisy and Jude, who haven’t had much socialization with humans besides family. It was the first time they’ve ever been boarded, which was nerve wracking, but luckily she sent photos throughout their stay which put my mind at ease. They had a great time running around and playing in her big backyard, which is fenced. I would definitely recommend Bee and book with her again! ?

About: I have always had pets in my life. I was born into a house with cats and dogs and have had two dogs for as long as I can remember. I have taken care of the animals when my parents have been gone. We have had dogs old and young of all sizes and I love all animals big and small. I will love on animals and play with them, take care of them or just snuggle if they dont like to play. I will be with the animals as much as possible in between other jobs. I also have worked at petsmart in the pet hotel so I have a lot of knowledge and experience working with pets. I am currently working full time but I can let the dogs out before I go to work and then can go right after work as well. I go in at 8 am and get off at 330 pm I will take special care with each pet and be sure to follow the rules that are set by the pet parent. Because of working at petsmart I pay close attention to details and take special care of pets.

I'm with my dog 24/7 so it's hard for me to part with her when we travel. We're so glad we found Charlene and Rick. They went above and beyond to make sure that we could wrap up our trip without worries. Our dog loved both of them and we'll definitely ask for their help again when we need it!

She even went above and beyond working with her when it came to training. If you’re looking for someone to board your dog stop here and use this family you will not be disappointed they made everything so easy and gave the perfect piece of mind. We look forward to using Briana again and again for our willow.

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life—from my childhood golden retriever, to my first mini poodle in college, and now my French bulldog puppy. Having a Frenchie has taught me how to care for dogs with sensitive stomachs, skin allergies, and special needs. I cook fresh, balanced meals with real protein and veggies for every meal, and I treat every pup like my own—gentle, patient, and a little spoiled. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or home-cooked meals, I make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and completely at home. I’m an MBA student at Cornell and have classes about three times a week from Monday to Thursday from 9am to 1pm. My boyfriend is home during the day until I return in the afternoon, so there’s always someone available to care for and walk the pups. We’re both huge dog lovers and spend most weekends at home since I usually have assignments to work on — which means plenty of time for cuddles, walks, and playtime with your furry family member. Your pup’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I have a French bulldog with sensitive skin and allergies, so I’m extremely careful about hygiene, food, and playtime routines. I also have a bit of OCD when it comes to cleaning — my home is spotless, sanitized daily, and always pet-safe. Every pup has their own cozy, comfortable space to relax, and I can easily follow any feeding or medication instructions. Whether your dog needs fresh meals, extra attention, or a calm environment, they’ll be cared for with the same love and detail I give my own.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Cincinnatus home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Cincinnatus.

You and your Cincinnatus sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
