About: What most sets us apart is the level of care we give and how flexible our schedules are. Your dog will likely never be alone. They will also receive organic free range egg and meat snacks as a topper for their kibble, and have a daily forest walk or run. DIVERSE EXPERIENCE We have experience with all kinds of dogs, all ages and temperaments. We will ensure the puppies get proper potty training and are on a proper schedule (can be exactly as you specify). We can also help your dog to not jump up, not pull on the leash, and he'll with basic training like recall, sit, stay. We have cared for many an elderly dog helping them be as comfortable as possible. I was able to help a grieving dog, who did not want to do much of anything, to enjoy running through the woods and playing again. We also have safely had a blind dog in our care as well. I have been around dogs all my life, and I know how to help timid dogs relax, when to give them space and when they need me to simply love on them. For example, we had one dog who would run away from you, but when we finally set him on the couch and pet him he just about melted into a snuggly ball! TRAINING & PHILOSOPHIES I am often learning more about dog psychology and training methods. I only support dominance hierarchies to the extent that it helps the dog. If a dog believes they must be in control because they don’t have a good leader, they will be more stressed out. This is unfair to the dog. I will never be unnecessarily rough with your pet though and I use positive reinforcement first. I have used this experience with success on friends’ and acquaintances’ dogs, as well as my own. My dog sits for over a minute until I tell him to Come. I see each animal as a unique soul who is here to experience and learn. I will be patient with your pet, kind but firm, and we will have loads of fun! FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES I can accommodate many schedules, including crate training. I can bring the crate along if we will be gone longer than a half hour visiting the neighboring farm. I can ensure your pet is kept to whatever feeding and potty schedules they are comfortable with, especially with potty training puppies. I have one dog: a whippet mix. I let him in and out as he chooses, and have a couple acres for him to run and play on. I am currently working on the perimeter fence also. Scoop and I often play fetch. I love going for runs and walks and would happily bring your pup along, depending on his or her energy level. I have a healthy understanding of how to keep a healthy leash contact with the dog, and if need be, I am quite strong if I need to keep the dog from running. I like to use incredibly long leashes if the dog is a flight risk but doesn't pull too hard so they have room to explore.

About: I have taken care of other peoples pets since I was a teenager. I have done drop ins and over night care for dogs and cats! I know fur babies are family and I take very good care of them. I have two dogs and four cats of my own! I would love the chance to let your pet get out and potty/stretch during the day or evening while you’re away. I am currently a stay at home mom. I have a lot of free time during the week as well as weekends. I can be available during the times of 8:30am-7:30pm or additional times if needed! I can let your dogs out to play and potty in your yard, if you don’t have a fenced in area I can put them on a leash and walk them. I can accommodate most things, just let me know your needs!

About: From terrier temperaments to retriever antics; high prey drive; fear aggression or strong willed; I have the knowledge to care and work with your dog or equine/ livestock. Can handle puppies to geriatrics. Able to play/reward puppies to gentle care for elders. If I pet sit for you, I ensure your dog is walked and played with to release energy as well as taking care of your home; collecting mail/ packages and keeping everything tidy! FYI, I don’t walk 2 large dogs at once- only 1 at a time. Also, rover doesn’t allow me to differentiate service radius between house sitting and drop-ins; hence, if a drop-in request is beyond 13 miles, the mileage and gas isn’t compensated by my drop-in fee. I showed AKC confirmation from 1994-2014; managed a 50-dog kennel in the 90s; and also have 13 years as a legal secretary. In my youth, I showed horses and French lop rabbits. I showed, trained and bred top winning American Stafforshire Terriers and Chesapeake bay retrievers. I did 22 AKC champions. Available days and/or nights. I am retired and have time available. Happy to pop in for check ups, walks, feeding as well as spending nights and taking care of your home. I care for any pet in accordance to the guardians exact wishes. I’ve had dogs and a cat since I was young and was always held accountable to take care of them! I took a Veterinary Science class in High School and dealt with animals on a daily during this course (Bunnies and Puppies.) About: I’ve had dogs on and off my entire life. For the last 12 years our family has rescued/adopted 11 dogs. I have kept family and friends' dogs while they vacation as well as done drop ins at their home for walks, feeding and cuddling. I have also taken care of goats and chickens. I will treat your pets how I would want someone to treat mine. I am comfortable around all size and breeds of dogs and cats as well as goats and chickens. I am self employed and have a very flexible schedule. I am available almost any time, including nights and weekends. Most schedules can be accommodated. I have 5 acres which about 1/2 acre is fenced in with 6-foot fencing. I can snuggle your dog on the couch or crate them if they feel more comfortable like that. I have my own personal dogs but keep them separate from other people's pets. If you leave directions of what your pets routine in your home is like I can provide for them in that manner.

About: I’ve been an avid animal lover from a very young age and have worked with many different types and life stages. My most extensive experience is with horses, but I have also managed flocks of chickens, rehabilitated sick cats, trained dogs, have been responsible for the care of sheep. I was that girl in high school that everyone brought their sick pets to. Nowadays I’m the one people ask for advice concerning everything from behavioral to health problems. As my husband and I are starting our personal farm I am opening up my pet sitting to a more people. I’m currently managing my personal farm and have a seasonal part time job that takes me away Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons. Other than that, I am typically at home. I have a 18 acre farm for dogs with a good recall to play on. These dogs can spend most of their day joining me and my own pets in caring for the farm. For dogs without a good recall, I do have a smaller horse paddock that I can let them play in. The fence will hold most dogs of every shape and size. Interaction between residents of the paddock and your pets will only be allowed at my discretion. The residents are dog-friendly and will be moved to another area for your pup’s playtime. I also have access to 25 acre of woods with trails to take dogs on more extensive walks. My personal farm consists of chickens, quail, sheep, a pony, a cow, two large dogs and pigs. I personally feel that a happy pet is one that has a job. In coming to my farm your pets will be treated like my pets. I am not prone to spoiling but I do like to reward jobs well done. There are a few rules but they are easy to learn. Most visiting pets are pros within 15 minutes. I have several toys and puzzles to entertain pups that are more indoor oriented.
