I truly can’t recommend her enough! Skye is my whole world, so trusting someone else to care for her is never easy, but she exceeded every expectation. She was so kind, attentive, and treated Skye like she was one of her own. Her communication was amazing from start to finish. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing my baby was happy, safe, and loved. It was obvious how much she genuinely cares about the pets she watches. I’m so grateful we found her, and I’m honestly so sad we’re moving because I know Skye is going to miss her just as much as I will. If you’re looking for someone who will love your pet like family and make you feel completely at ease while you’re away, she’s the one. Thank you for taking such incredible care of my girl—we’ll always be grateful! ❤️

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been a passion of mine. My experience includes working at a veterinary hospital and completing schooling as a veterinary assistant, giving me hands-on knowledge of pet health and care. I treat every pet that comes into my home as if they were my own, providing them with love, patience, and individualized attention. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks, visiting the park or dog park (with the owner’s permission), and making sure they receive plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. My daughters are also animal lovers and enjoy having pets in our home. They understand the importance of being gentle and respectful, helping create a welcoming, family-oriented environment where pets can feel safe and comfortable. In addition to daily care, I’m experienced in administering oral medications and injections when prescribed, as well as providing basic grooming services such as baths and nail trims. My goal is to give every pet the same level of care, comfort, and attention I’d want for my own, while giving pet parents peace of mind that their furry family member is in caring, capable hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I plan my day around the pets in my care to ensure they receive timely meals, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. Whether I’m providing boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, or dog walks, I make it a priority to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident that their furry family members are happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away. I provide attentive, reliable care tailored to each pet’s individual needs and routine. Boarding (my home): Pets staying in my home are treated like family. They receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, regular potty breaks, fresh water, meals according to their schedule, and a safe, clean, comfortable environment. I work to maintain their normal routine to help them feel relaxed and at home. House Sitting (client’s home): I care for pets in the comfort of their own home while maintaining their regular routine. This includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, administering medications if needed, cleaning up after pets, and providing companionship. I also respect and care for the home by bringing in mail, watering plants if requested, and keeping everything tidy. Drop-In Visits: During each visit, I provide fresh food and water, potty breaks or litter box cleaning, playtime, affection, and a quick wellness check. I also send updates and photos so owners know how their pets are doing. Dog Walking: Every walk is tailored to the dog’s energy level and needs. I prioritize safety by using secure leashes and harnesses, provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, ensure access to water when needed, and wipe paws after walks if requested. I always monitor pets closely for signs of stress, fatigue, or discomfort. No matter which service I provide, my goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners peace of mind through dependable care and regular communication.

Kiley was a lifesaver for us! Our usual dog sitter/walker couldn’t assist us and I was able to book Kiley on short notice. She went to our home and took exceptional care of our 7 month old Yorkie, Dash! I can’t say enough about how great she was with him. We received updates and photos which we were grateful for. About: I require a copy of vaccines from your vet and your animal to be on flea tick and heart worm medicine to stay. ✨ Why choose me? • I treat every dog like family—snuggles, belly rubs, and playtime are guaranteed. • Safety first: I keep a close eye on all dogs and make sure they’re happy, healthy, and comfortable. • Reliable communication: You’ll always get photo & video updates so you know your pup is in great hands. ✨ About me: I have lifelong experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Whether your pup is high-energy and loves long walks or prefers cozy naps and gentle attention, I’ll make sure they feel right at home. ✨ What your dog can expect: • Daily walks, potty breaks, and fresh water • Playtime tailored to their energy level • Lots of love and attention • A safe, clean, and comfortable home environment ✨ Extra touches: I’m patient, reliable, and truly love what I do. My goal is to give you peace of mind while giving your dog the best care possible. I work full time 8-5, thirty minutes away from my address and have family 5 minutes away if anything come up while I’m at work, I have cameras inside and outside of my home so I can monitor animals when I’m not home. I am also available on weekends if you need an overnight sitter, and can stop in and check on your animals as many times as needed. I do not have a fenced in yard and would require a lease and harness for them to be taken out. This would make me feel better as nothing would happen to them. I live by a stop sign so cars do not come by fast but they do go by right in front of the house. I have trained my dogs to go nowhere near the front yard for safety reasons.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Chocowinity. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Chocowinity.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 93% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
