About: I’ve had animals my entire life and bring both experience and genuine care to every pet I watch. I was raised on a farm surrounded by animals, and I’ve owned dogs for most of my life, including a small dog I cared for over 16 years. I currently have an 8-month-old Golden Retriever puppy, so I’m very comfortable with puppy energy, routines, and reinforcement of basic training. I work as a teacher Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. Because of this, I’m most available for pet care in the mornings, evenings, and overnight stays during the week. My schedule also allows for consistent availability on weekends, holidays, and school breaks, which gives me extra flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and extended care. When caring for pets, I prioritize maintaining their normal routines and making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship outside of my work hours.

About: Hi there! My name is Laikin. I have experience as a volunteer and foster at the local humane society for 6+ years. I have been dog sitting for over 7 years now, so I have experience with most breeds, sizes, and shapes of dogs. :) I personally own one dog, an australian shepard mix! I love spending time with dogs. I am good at following the directions and spending quality time with your pups! They will be in good hands and you’ll feel safe trusting me. I am responsible and able to stay calm in situations in order to give the best care to your dog! About: I currently work in the vet med field as a vet tech. I know how to provide quality care for all pets from senior care to puppy training. I am equipped at administering medications and giving injections if needed. I am CPR certified in case of emergencies. I’m currently working full time Monday-Friday. I get hour long lunches so I’d be able to do mid day potty breaks. I am able to bring pets to my place of work to hang out (they would be separated from the other patients) if needed. Open availability on the weekends I have lots of areas to walk dogs around my apartment and there is a dog park within the complex. I have space for kennels if needed and cameras to watch if they are trusted outside of the kennel while I’m away. I can easily follow any medication/ feeding schedule for any pet.

About: Hi! My name is Amber. I am a teacher-turned-author looking to serve your every doggy need. Growing up, I thought I wanted to be a Vet. I spent every Saturday volunteering at the Ross Country Humane Society from ages 10-18 and was part of the Humane Society of the United States Advisory Board. I have spent thousands of hours with animals in shelters/rescues. After much prayer and consideration, God led me to writing instead of Veterinary work. I have experience in pet and house sitting, boarding, and walking. I love pets of all ages, breeds, and sizes, but have a particular soft spot for golden retrievers, huskies, and terrier mixes. As an author, I love showing love to animals and find it to be an excellent and comforting mind-break. Since getting married, I currently offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house/pet sitting in Chillicothe, Ohio. I don't currently own any pets of my own. About: Hi! My name is Sue. I’m new to Rover, and still trying to grow my business, but not new to animals! My mother was truly an animal whisperer; animals were always drawn to her, and she to them. I'd like to believe I inherited that from her, as I, too, find myself very drawn to animals. As a child, my fondest memories were always with my dog, and now, as an adult, I find myself venturing toward Crazy Cat Lady territory. I've helped animals transition into old age, and have experience administering medications. I've also taken care of animals of friends over the years, both house sitting and drop-ins because I know how stressful it can be to find a pet sitter that you feel comfortable with. I am a semi-retired teacher, and now have my own business working from home, so I can work from anywhere! I can house sit for you without leaving your pets to go to work. I’m always home on the weekends to do drop-ins, dog walking or house sitting. I’m not a huge fan of the holidays, so I stay close to home. Definitely book me for your holiday travels! You know your pets better than anyone, and I'm here to make life as easy as I can for you while you're away from home and your pets. I will treat them as if they were my own. I believe that professionalism and communication are very important, and you will get both from me. If you work from home (or in-office), and are swamped, I can walk your dogs or come over and let them out for you. I remember very well the frequency with which dogs have to go out, and how that can be difficult with work schedules. My goal is to make things as simple and easy as possible for you and your pets' needs. I will care for your pets as if they were my own, and I promise to whisper to them! I do set my own schedule, so I can usually be flexible and move activities around and work something out that will work for you. I will do exactly as you instruct me. Your pet will get plenty of attention because loving animals is my specialty! I will keep your pet on the same schedule they're used to to avoid any undue stress.

“Schawna stayed wtih our animals at the house for 5 days. She checked in with us to let them know they were doing well and sent us pictures with them as well. Our flight arrived late so we told her she could leave and the dogs would be okay so we didn’t get to chat with her before she parted, but we came home and were pleasantly surprised to see the house was also very clean, it even looked cleaner than when we left. We would definitely use Schawna again to take care of our 2 dogs, 2 cats, and home.”

About: I have cared for dogs both as a child and adult. They are one of life’s joys and I really enjoy being with them all I am semi-retired and set my own schedule. This allows me to be available when needed with enough notice and planning. I am excited about this. I can crate if needed. I walk dogs at least one time a day and would feed according to the owner’s instructions. Not a problem.
