About: If you are looking for someone with lots of animal experience, I'm your person. I was raised on a farm and LOVE animals. We love to play and be engaged with them. I've cared for many different types of animals for over 25 years ranging from gerbils, bunnies to chickens and horses. Growing up, my dog was definitely my "best friend" Now as an adult, we currently have 2 yorkies of our own that love to play, meet new people, and fur friends. We also have bred and raised multiple litters of puppies. I am a stay at home mom of 3 girls. My children are actively involved on a daily basis in caring for our own dogs and any dogs we sit. I'm also wife to a Soldier. Because we are a military family, we are use to constant change, flexibility, and making new friends. Which makes a great TEAM at taking care of multiple pets. I’m currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies.. My job is very flexible and I can always take time off with no difficulty. I also have a husband and 3 children that have helped for the past 8 years with dog sitting. We live on a 1 acre lot that is 100% fenced. Our fence is puppy proofed for our 3 pound yorkie so he can’t escape. We never leave animals outside. We also have a outside and indoor security cameras on our home. So if we do have to run to town or if I’m in another room, we can check on them via phone. Your animal safety is just as important as my own dogs. One way I ensure safety is, we never let different families of dogs out at the same time. We try to teach and reassure all animals that they are loved and safe.

Rest assured that we will take great care of your pet so please don't worry and enjoy your vacation !!! We are a dog loving family that live in a single family house with our very friendly Golden doodle girl. We live in a 1 acre lot so rest assure, your pups will have plenty of space to roam around I work from home so I get to spend all day with your dog; our daily routines vary between, playing at local dog parks, local trails or walking around our neighborhood. Once the kids get back from school they will play non-stop, snuggle and tend to all our guest dogs. Rest assured our home is a wonderful place to raise our puppy and care for other canine pals. Why we love dog sitting My wife and myself are both animal lovers and grew up with dogs. Most of our adult lives we either lived or cared for other people's pets. I've owned all types of breeds for more than 15 years. My history ranges from small dogs like yorkies and french poodles, to bigger sizes like alaskan malmute and shepherds. Our kids are picking up after our love to dogs and really enjoy helping us with taking care of pups. Wether it's feeding them, walking them or just snuggling, they will take care of your pups and make them feel part of our family! About our space We have a very large 1 acre fenced in back yard where pups are free to explore, play and roam around as they please during the day. We have plenty of space indoors for your pet to sleep either on a comfy dog bed, on a cool floor, on fluffy carpet, or a private dog crate; all dogs will sleep indoors. My experience administering medication Yes, both oral or injected. *Please Note: We ask for all DROP OFFs be between 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm and all PICK UP's be between 9:00 am - 11:00 am. Please plan accordingly. This may require you to request an extra day to fit these hours. Thank you.* **We also ask for your dog to be housebroken before they can stay with us.** Usually we go for a long walk around the neighborhood in the morning and then go to one in the early evening. We usually let the dogs roam around the yard for a few hours but they are also welcome to stay indoors if they prefer. We have a one acre fenced in yard where your pupss are free to roam around. We leave in a gated community with a nice path along the lake where we take our daiily walks. I work from home and are constantly looking after the pups needs.

About: I have been involved in the Basenji breed for 30 years and am an AKC Breeder of Merit of Basenjis. My dogs show quite successfully in conformation and participate in lure coursing and barn hunt among other things. I have also worked in the the Vet Med profession for about as long as I've been involved in Basenjis. The majority of my career has been in Emergency and Critical Care- first as a Technician and later as a Practice Manger- but I also spent a number of years in Day Practice where I was not only a Technician but also the Kennel Manager in charge of overseeing the boarding facility. I feel all these experiences, plus my day-to-day care and management of 20 horses, make me an excellent choice when you're looking for a person to entrust your furry family member with. I have the background to be able to recognize and deal with a medical emergency should one arise, while at the same time having the knowledge of what it takes to keep dogs happy and healthy in a clean and enriched environment. Steadfast Farm is a working farm. We raise critically endangered Hackney Horses and Select Hackney Sport Horses. As such, I am home every day pretty much 24/7 other than running the occasional errands or two. Working on the farm allows me to be very hands on with my boarding clients- I offer pick-up and delivery for example- and allows for your pets to have plenty of structured, well managed play time throughout the day. A general day looks like this: 7-8am wake up! Your pet is taken outside for potty and a quick play before breakfast. 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm depending on the weather, your pet will either get to spend time in one of the play yards or can hang out in the house with me for some games and enrichment. 6-7pm dinner time and another potty break. 10-11pm Final play and potty break. I have multiple safely fenced yards. The majority of the fencing is 6' privacy fence and/or 6' no climb wire. Each yard has shade available as well as enrichment activities like swimming pools (weather permitting) and designated dig spots. There are also 2 smaller pens inside 2 of the yards for toy breeds and young puppies. These pens also have shade available and enrichment opportunities. The perimeter of the area surrounding the house and yards where the dogs are kept is also fenced with a combination of 6' chain link and 6' pipe and welded wire horse fencing. Inside the house, dogs are kept in size appropriate crates (or in playpens if they prefer) when they are not outside playing or loose in the house with me. Coming soon- I will be offering private cottages for dogs who will be more comfortable in a home like setting without other dogs. The cottages will be furnished with a dog bed and comfy chair and a TV for watching DogTV. The cottages will be temperature controlled and have a doggy door for access during the day to a private, covered outdoor run. I am a certified Games Based trainer as well so I can offer additional training for your dog while they are boarding. Concept training/Games Based training is science based, Positive Reinforcement training used by Veterinary Behaviorists, leading professional trainers, and international dog sport participants with outstanding results! Plus it's fun for you and your dog!! I also have extensive experience in isolation protocols and am very conscientious about cleaning and sanitizing yards and kennels throughout the day. With the current outbreak of an as yet unknown canine disease- this becomes hugely important. All dogs booking stays will be evaluated for risk of exposure prior to finalizing reservations as it is important to me all dogs remain healthy while staying at Steadfast Farm.

About: I have always had pets growing up. Animals are such sweet souls that can be so misunderstood. Let me love, and take care of your pet, while promising safety and health! I am currently staying at home with my two-year-old daughter while my son is in pre-K during the day! This is the perfect way for me to make some extra money while being able to still be a mom. I do not have any pets in my home so safety is my number one priority. I have a fenced backyard and am ready to play with your fur baby!

About: I love taking care of babies. Dogs make me happy. I have 2 of my own, but my love won't let me have anymore. This way I can love more. I've never seen a dog as just "a dog". My Border Collie saved me as much as I saved her. I think dogs bring a "peace" to their human. I've saved quite a lot, I use to find them, and if I couldn't find their human, I'd give them a home, show them love and then get to work finding the perfect home.
