About: I have owned dogs my entire life and held many dog-sitting jobs throughout college. I am very intuitive and know the Capital Region well, so I am able to find the best walks and treatment specific to your pups! I enjoy being active and am excited at the opportunity to keep your dog healthy and active as well. I also have a car so getting to and from your home will be done with ease so I can focus my time on caring for your dogs with long walks, playing and feeding. I work remotely, so I have some flexibility with scheduling. I am open to dog-sitting at your house as I have done for up to two week periods of time for families with many dogs throughout DC. I work remotely, so I’m able to be very attuned to your pup and their needs! On demand walks and cuddles during the day are my favorite. I have a fenced back yard, but am open to staying at your home as well. We can work out what is best for your pup.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I cared for hamsters, fish, and even a little parakeet. At 19, I adopted Max, a sweet lab mix who became my constant travel companion for 11 wonderful years as we explored the East Coast together. I’ve raised all my dogs from puppyhood, giving me plenty of experience with training, socializing, and caring for them through every stage of life. Today, my family and I live on 220 beautiful acres in Chestertown with: Beauty – Aussie Heeler mix (5) Scooby – lovable mutt (2) Yakko & Dot – tuxedo cats (3) 70+ chickens with big personalities A lively 55-gallon aquarium with community fish and snails, which has taught me the importance of maintaining delicate habitats Living with so many animals — from dogs and cats to chickens and aquarium life — has taught me patience, adaptability, and the joy of connecting with creatures of all kinds. Whether it’s walking a high-energy dog, keeping a shy cat comfortable, or caring for fish and poultry, I treat every animal like they’re part of my family. I split my time between Chestertown and Glens Falls, which means I can offer flexible pet care in both areas. I’m available for drop-in visits in Glens Falls on the days I’m there, as well as home stays in either location. I’m currently recovering from a car accident and walk with a cane, so while I can’t take dogs on long walks, I can safely let them out into a fenced yard or supervise them on a lead. At this time, I’m not offering boarding services in my own home, but I do plan to in the future. For now, my focus is on providing reliable, in-home care and check-ins so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, their safety and comfort always come first. In your home, I follow your routines closely — from feeding schedules to favorite playtime activities — so pets feel secure in their familiar space. I make sure doors and gates are secure, keep an eye on water and food bowls, and provide supervised outdoor time in fenced areas or on a lead. In my home (for future boarding services), pets will enjoy a calm, animal-friendly environment on our 220-acre property, safely separated from my own animals as needed. I have experience managing dogs, cats, poultry, and aquarium life, which means I’m attentive to different needs and personalities. As a volunteer firefighter here in Chestertown, safety and responsibility are part of my everyday life. I also believe trust is built through clear communication — you can expect regular updates, photos, and honest feedback while your pets are in my care.

About: I love all animals!!! I really enjoy coming to your house and playing with your precious babies. I have cared for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds, turtles, and yes even snakes. I’ve even experienced breeding and nurturing 11 golden retrievers (3 adults and 8 puppies) at one time. I will come to your house to LOVE, feed, water, play, brush, walk, talk to, and even car rides with your beautiful pets. I’ve also been known to mop, water your plants, retrieve your mail, and take your garbage to the street. On numerous occasions, I’ve taken on jobs in Massachusetts and Vermont as mini vacations! I have a bubbly and friendly personality that animals respond well too! Reasonable rates, flexible hours, and many satisfied customers! I am retired from the county, which allows me to provide full time care to all my fury friends! I travel distances to watch your babies and occasionally welcome your pet to stay at my house. My goal is to watch pups in their own environment. It’s always difficult when Mom and Dad go away, but they are definitely less stressed if they get to stay home. This way they can feel safe and comfortable in their own surroundings

About: I have owned and taken care of dogs for my entire life. Currently, I own a small 9lb rescue, who is 11 yrs old. In the past, I have owned medium and large dogs as well, including beagles, labs, retrievers. I have professionally and personally walked and fed dogs for neighbors and friends, our furry ones are the very best!! I am a self-employed yoga instructor, with a flexible schedule. With this flexibility, I can accommodate most days and times, both weekdays and weekends. I am organized, punctual, reliable, trustworthy, and communicative. I really enjoy walking every day and it's always better with a dog! My dog, Bodhi, fetches sticks in our backyard and stills plays like a puppy, even at 11yrs old! I take him hiking regularly, as well as to the surrounding parks, which are numerous and all within walking distance from where I live.

About: I have over 10 years of experience in animal husbandry and veterinary care. I cared for a multitude of animals, including cats, dogs, and other exotic pets. Whether it is daily exercise, extra snuggles, or an extra zen environment, I have the experience for your furbabies. I can administer daily medications, follow complex diets, and look critically at the animals in my care to determine if veterinary assistance is needed. Additionally, if your pet will boarding they will have their own dedicated room for the duration of their stay with a large kennel to give owners the options of having their pet free-roaming or kenneled at night. Pictures of your pet can be provided upon request (I usually send one even if it isn't requested but if you want more, I will provide. :) Petcare is my life 24/7. Walks, playtime, and pleasant company are the three biggest parts of daily routine. For cats, making sure they have adequate creature comforts and, if the cat enjoys the attention, plenty of interaction with yours truly. I have a large back yard and a walking trail that runs right beside my home which I utilize. Pets will be given their own dedicated room with the option to kennel. I clean the room with pet-safe Kenosol between guests. All animals on premises are vaccinated and are on preventative flea & tick medicine.

I keep groups tiny (just 3 puppies per day) so every pup gets personal attention. Located right here in South Glens Falls, NY, minutes from Glens Falls, Wilton, and Moreau. Pet care is my daily routine! I run a full-time Puppy Preschool from my home Monday–Friday, 8 AM–3 PM. Puppies are my focus during these hours — I’m home and engaged with them the entire time. Our day is structured into supervised play sessions, short training games, rest breaks, snack times, and outdoor potty breaks. Because this is my main job, your puppy is never left unattended and always has someone keeping an eye on them. I keep my groups small (3 puppies max) so I can give each one personal attention, affection, and care. Safety is my top priority, especially with young puppies. I keep my groups small — a maximum of 3 puppies per day — so I can supervise closely and make sure everyone plays nicely. My home has a large, secure fenced yard for outdoor play and potty breaks. Indoors, I use puppy gates and playpens to create safe zones for rest and gentle play. Puppies are never left unsupervised, and all play sessions are monitored to prevent roughhousing or overstimulation. Cleanliness is also important — water bowls are refreshed frequently, play areas are sanitized daily, and bedding is washed regularly. I require all puppies to be up to date on core vaccinations before attending. I treat every puppy as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable from the moment they arrive until they’re picked up. Parents get regular photo updates so they can see their pup having fun and feeling secure.
