About: I have had puppies and dogs in my life for the last 32 years. My life would not be complete without them. Currently I have a treeing walker coon hound who is full of energy. My lab just recently passed away. She was almost 13 years old. Being able to help people out by making sure their dogs or cats are loved and exercised would be so rewarding for me. I’m a nurse who works part time two days a week. I’m looking forward to filling the rest of my week with pet care appointments. I will respect your home and privacy and be sure and agree upon set instructions before entering and leaving. I will effectively communicate prior to and after each visit.

Your pets will be in good hands and I will treat them as if they were my own. Currently: I have open availability. I have a super flexible schedule and can accommodate for last minute changes. We have a fenced in yard big enough for both, and we love to go for daily walks. For my senior dogs, I make him homecooked with kibble meals due to dietary restrictions. About: I have experience in home health care for the elderly, often providing support that extends to their pets as well. My experience with pets have been primarily dog walking for clients, feeding, pet/home maintenance I’m currently making myself entirely open to this experience into pet care as to making this my career. About: I’m a massage therapist with too much time on my hands, I have three crazy cats and a 2 year old boxer. I grew up with both cats and dogs and can’t wait to meet yours! I work Monday 11:30-5 , Tuesday and Thursday 8:30-2 and Wednesday 3:30-9 other than that I am free! Weekends I’m free to pet sit, and even sometimes during the week I wouldn’t have to leave for more than 6 hours a day. My pets are more than spoiled and I would I’ve to do the same with your pet. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats since I was a child. I have helped my girlfriend train our current dog which is a bernedoodle. He knows how to sit, shake, go to his pillow, and he is currently learning to roll over. I currently have a Doberman at my parents house that I help take care of while I am home. I am currently a dental student at Ohio state and I am in school from 7:30-4:00 daily but the weekends I am free. Some days I will finish before 4:00 but that depends on the week. I feed and water my current dogs and cats every morning and every evening. They get treats throughout the day when they exhibit good behavior and listening skills so they know that is a positive thing to keep doing it.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
