About: Currently a golden retriever and cat mom, my love for animals began when I was a child. In my adult life, I have owned a Corgi, St. Bernard, and cats that I have cared for their entire lives. I am looking to help others in need of pet care, whether it is a daily walk or visit, or overnight boarding. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule to help with pet care. I can provide daily walks or outside time as needed. Dogs and cats are like family to me. Your pet will be treated as one of my own - with lots of love and attention!

About: I used to spend a lot of time volunteering at a rescue shelter. I started off with the basics; walking, socializing, playing and being a friend. I eventually became more involved and had a great time doing it. I helped with social media, took photos of the dogs, assisted with adoption and fundraising events, foster care and the biggest experience of all was the time I went along on a road trip to South Carolina to rescue dogs from shelters and being them back to Vermont for adoption. For many reasons, that is an adventure I will never forget. I'm available most weekdays and some weekends. I'm flexible, so times can be discussed. “We had a sitter back out last minute with a trip we had booked for a couple of months. We have a young, anxious, high strung dog and we were worried about leaving him somewhere that’s too stimulating, like a kennel. We were traveling from Maine to Vermont so I decided to try Rover and see if somebody could watch him for us in the city we were staying in, so we could be available if there was a problem. Paul responded quickly and accepted Bjorn’s stay within five days of the trip. We kept Bjorn during the day but we dropped him off in the evenings. Paul was quick to respond in all communications about Bjorn, whether it be about drop off/pick up, care, questions about how he was doing. He even problem solved when Bjorn was too nervous to use the bathroom, and asked me for tips when he was struggling to eat. We also got pictures throughout his stay. He made me feel super comfortable leaving my nervous baby with him and didn’t make us feel like Bjorn was too much (which I know he is). We appreciated Paul’s care of Bjorn so much, it really took the stress off during our trip.”

It was a really great experience and we appreciate her willingness to do anything she could to make our wedding day special with our dog! About: I'm someone who enjoys being around dogs and I love being able to make them happy. I have experience owning large and small dogs. I make sure to get them the exercise, play, and attention they need (and deserve)! I currently work from home and have availability during the work day to take breaks and get outside (rain or shine). I have my own dog so it is part of my routine to spend time caring for her. I live in a cold-a-sac neighborhood and have over a half acre of land. I enjoy playing fetch with dogs, walking with them, or just sitting side by side being buddies. I make sure they are fed enough and always have water in their bowls!

About: Ive been around animals since I was young. My puppy is turning 4 this year, his name is Alvah! Since having him i’ve developed skills in training puppies, grooming, walking, bathing, feeding, playing, and overall care that animals deserve. I’ve been around blind dogs and senior animals who need medications or extra support. The number one thing i’ve learned is listening to my intuition. An animals demeanor, look in their eyes, body language, and energy says more than words ever could. Sometimes it feels like I know that they are thinking! I believe there is something special about connecting with another creature outside of your own species. That being said I adore all animals of any gender, size, age, condition, and personality:) I currently work two jobs, both part time. My days off are Mondays and Tuesdays. Wednesday and Thursday I tend to work night shifts but that is not consistent as my schedule changes based on what my job needs. Friday-Sunday I work during the day and usually have the evenings to myself after 4pm. On the bright side both of my jobs are flexible and understanding. If there are any concerns about time or availability please feel free to communicate that with me and we can work it out! I live in a basement apartment, there is a fenced yard. The neighborhood is great for walks, and there are fun trails in the area. The family I rent from does have a small high energy dog, but it is rare that we are in the backyard at the same time. As for my puppy he goes back and forth between my family and I. So if your pet likes company or is better alone, either works! I try to walk him 2-3 times a day and he goes out to do his business every 1-2 hours. If there are certain instructions you have for your pet or home rest assured I will follow them! I am a clean and organized person in my home and in others. I believe communication and honesty is so important, for both parties to feel safe and happy.
