“Saskia took excellent care of Ripley, and even got the stinger out of her foot when she was stung by a bee! Ripley was super comfortable with her, and had a great time!”

“Our pooch had a great first stay with Holly! I really appreciated receiving Holly’s regular updates and photos. Knowing that everything was going well allowed us to relax and enjoy our weekend away. Thank you Holly!”

“Henry's first day with Brigit & Robert was wonderful ... he's been talking about it non-stop (woof, woof woof, woof)!. A lovely quiet home, and caring attentive people ... we look forward to staying again! Thank you Brigit & Robert!”
“Charlie and his wife were great. We gave them a smaller ‘princess’ dog and a large high energy dog and they took them both in with no issue! Dogs seemed to have a good time! I would definitely board here again!”

About: I have been loving and taking care of pets for years. I worked at animal shelter for 2 years and that gave me lots of experience with all kinds of animals young ones, old ones, moody ones, happy ones, and more! I have lots of experience with challenging dogs and ones with health issues too. I am currently home for the summer and looking to fill my time loving on some animals 🐾 I do not have any restrictions on time or days. I have a fenced yard and dogs to keep your fur friend company. I have the space to crate your pup if needed, and wood floor for easy clean ups.

“Yasmin and her family were nothing short of perfect. They handled and took care of my Oso as if he were his own family. They went above and beyond to make sure he was well taken care of, nurtured and always happy. He went on walks, trips and they were excellent in also giving him his medication properly and to my exact request. I 1000% recommend and am forever grateful to have found these wonderful people to watch over my beloved Oso! A+++ service an WILL rebook again!!!!”

“Ricci took such great care of our Waldo! You can tell she is such an animal lover when you meet her. She sent updates and photos so we had peace of mind when we were away. Waldo will be a repeat customer!”
“Amanda and Lee were fantastic dog sitters for Bobo. Great communication, sending pics and regular updates, and my pup came home happy. Will definitely ask them to sit Bobo again. Thank you guys for treating my sweet boy like your own.”

“Josephine was an excellent sitter! We really appreciated that she took the time to meet Scout and ask questions before the stay began to ensure that everything ran smoothly. During the stay she sent regular updates to let us know Scout was doing well and show us how much fun they were having. Having Josephine care for our little guy meant we could enjoy a weekend away without any concerns. Easiest 5 start review we could give!”

“Thank you both so much! Gord came home and has been so content today which tells me he enjoyed his stay. For us, knowing that our boy was well taken care of, made our trip so much easier. Loads of thanks!”

“Dhanesha took good care of Phoebe, making sure she got lots of cuddles! It was great getting all the photos and videos so I could see how she was settling in - mostly on Dhanesha’s bed! I would definitely book Dhanesha again for future dog care!”

“Pamesha was a great communicator in my first time using the Rover app. I really appreciated her clear and thorough profile when making my choice online. She agreed to a pre-meet in which I was even more confident this would be a great fit for Indie. She made an instant connection with Indie and during boarding we appreciated the regular outings/exercise/and pics of her both in Pamesha’s home and out frolicking. She gave great attention to specific instructions for feeding and schedules which helped Indie transition both to boarding and on return home. I look forward to booking Pamesha again.”

“It has been several years since we have utilized Robyn’s services. She has previously stayed at our home to stay with our boys while we have travelled and she has also done drop in visits in the past. We had a family member who was able to stay with them for the last couple years. Now circumstances have changed and we decided to take them to stay with Robyn and could not be happier with the choice. We received lots of updates, and every picture had happy puppy dogs! Will happily bring the boys back. I know they are being well taken care of! Thank you Robyn!!”

“Great stay with Belinda and family. Walter and Harry were comfortable in their home from the minute they walked in the door. Loved the daily pics and video. Thanks so much.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
