“Monika is a friendly and caring person that took care of our fur baby just like she was her own. She sent video updates of our pup throughout the day so we could enjoy our day away without worrying about how things were going.”

“Esmeralda offered the perfect day care experience for our little morkie, Molly. We were visiting in the Blue Ridge area and had activities planned for two days that would not allow us to bring our pet along. Esmeralda's home was a peaceful retreat in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Our little morkie gets overwhelmed and stressed at boarding facilities. But she was happy and playful when I picked her up each day. Esmeralda sent updates and photos both days and was genuinely happy to see Molly each morning. We will definitely use Esmeralda again when we travel to the Blue Ridge area. We highly recommend her!”

“First time leaving our furpup with a stranger for any length of time, so I was as nervous as any new mom leaving their baby at daycare. Sonia was so sweet and Brody loved her. He had a great playday with Bella, Sonia's pup, and was joyfully exhausted when we picked him up. We will definitely use Sonia every time we are in town.”

“Ashley was simply great! Our pups loved her and her home! We were very impressed by her, the environment and how well the pups took to her. She was very warm towards our dogs and just gave them free reign of her home as if the dogs had been going there forever... we will definitely take use her again!”

“Kristen was amazing with Sudd and he came home tired everyday! I’m not sure if she was more excited to see Sudd or he was more excited to see her! I would definitely recommend and will continue to use Kristen!”
About: Hi, I’m Maggie! I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. I have lived on a farm surrounded by dogs, horses, and cats, which gave me years of hands on experience caring for animals of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. After losing my beloved German Shepherd, I began fostering others through rescues. A journey that’s been both healing and incredibly rewarding. It’s deepened my understanding of different temperaments, training needs, and the importance of patience, structure, and gentle consistency. Whether I’m boarding, house sitting, or stopping in for a visit, I focus on creating a calm, loving environment where every pet feels safe and cared for like family. I treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I am currently working almost full time. I can spend evenings with your dog. I am usually gone around 6-8 hours a day at most. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I would only take outside on leash. I have a cat. I can keep the cat separated if needed.

About: I absolutely love animals of ALL kinds. I have 30+ years of experience caring for them. I have several references of people (friends) that have relied on me to care for their animals while they were away. Please let me know if you would like to meet and schedule today. I am currently not working so I can drop in to care for your pets 1-2 times a day. I always stay and give them pets/love because they miss their parents. We live in Ringgold (NE side) on 2 acres with a 6 foot privacy fence in the back yard. We currently have two Labs: Copper Ray, Abigale DeLaney “Abbie” and two cats Cassie Marie (Bobtail), and Oliver Patrick “Ollie” (Part Maine Coon) They all love laying on the couch together while inside. When they are outside they enjoy running, playing and hunting.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make sure my pet was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I especially appreciated all the photos and updates—they gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that they genuinely cared about my dog and treated them like their own. The attention to detail, communication, and overall kindness really stood out.”

“Andrew provided an outstanding day care experience for my pup, Louis. Andrew is excellent with communication (with photos/updates), has a genuine love for animals, was able to provide Louis with a back yard to romp around in, & he even had a couple of buddies for Louis to play with as well. Smooth handoffs & a great experience for the pup as well as myself!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
