About: Growing up, I have always taken care of many different kind of animals. I love dogs and cats. I will always treat your fur babies like they’re my own. I am trained in canine/feline first aid and CPR. I am a former EMT with the Citrus County Fire Rescue and the Louisville Metro EMS (Kentucky) and then moved into the hospital setting working in the emergency room. I’m a US Army Veteran and served for 11 years. Prior to emergency medicine, I worked in law enforcement. I am currently medically retired. My professional and personal experiences have placed me in situations where I had to rapidly respond to emergencies for people and animals alike. I have my own pets and love them with all my heart. I am respectful of all households and cultures and will put your fur baby’s needs first. If they need special attention or medications I can administer them. There’s nothing I won’t do for pets. I get along with all types of dogs/cats and breeds. I have experience with raising new puppies and know the attention and care they will be needing. I also have experience in caring for geriatric pets and all the intensive care that entails. Just let me know what your baby/babies need and I will follow through. I am free after I drop my daughter off at school. I just have to be available to check in on my elderly mother in law. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space to run around outside. The house inside has gated off areas. I also drive a SUV for transportation. Plenty of room for pups.

“We would like to start by saying that she is really a ROCKSTAR here on Rover APP. We found Sonia almost by the last minute and we are so happy that we found her. On the meet and greet we were already really impressed with the good energy that she brings, and our dogs loved her at the first sight. SPOIL ALERT: She works on Animal Clinic and has rescued a few dogs to her own, but she can tell you more about it. Sonia showed up on time, gave our dogs all the attention they needed, sent us a lot of pictures, and give us the report we needed to feel comfortable while we were not there. And also our dogs smelled SO GOOD when we got back home, we are still trying to figure out what happened here for our dogs to smell so good. LOL We are really glad that we found Sonia and we wish to keep her as our dog sitter for as long she be will be willing to.”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, I love them all. I’ve helped friends and family with their fur babies on several occasions; cats and dogs of different sizes. Walking, cleaning up after, feeding, playing with and all kinds of cuddles. I am currently available most always to care for your pets. I’d like a days notice for most scheduling but you can contact me anytime and most likely will be available on short notice I do have doggie doors and a privacy fence but my fur baby is 11 and likes her alone time so I’d prefer to care for yours at your home and follow any instructions you have and i would always walk them on a leash outside of the property.

I will wake up anywhere from 7 to 9 am and give everyone breakfast and medications if needed. Can get up earlier if your pet requires me too for their daily routine. If a walk is In their schedule, I will do that first before breakfast then depending on how tired they are they will wait for half an hour to an hour before having their breakfast. This is due to the heat so they’re walking as early as possible. If your pet is on a different schedule, of course I will follow that so please make sure you provide your pets schedule and medications otherwise they will use the schedule I have below *Water is provided throughout the day unless resting after walks. *The rest of the times that are not outlining the schedule or spent either playing your pet or cuddling with them whichever they prefer *7-8 am Early walk to avoid the heat *7-8 breakfast and bathroom break meds if need if they didn’t need a walk if they went on a walk depending on how tired they are I will have them wait for half an hour to an hour before breakfast *10am-12pm bathroom break *2-4pm bathroom break *5-6pm dinner meds if need *7-8pm short walk if not dark outside. *10pm bedtime Pet safety is my top priority, and I want you to feel completely at ease knowing your furry friends are in good hands. When dogs are in my care, they will always be leashed to ensure their safety and to help prevent any unexpected adventures! As someone with a disability, I take extra care in handling your pets, especially when it comes to taking them for walks. I believe that a smooth and safe experience for both the pet and the caregiver is essential. To further enhance their safety and identification, I will change their collars to Martindale collars with bells. These collars not only look great but also help keep track of your pets, especially if they decide to explore a bit too much! When your pets are in their own home, the only change will be the collars, so they can feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I understand how important it is to keep to their routines, so I will be diligent about following their schedules and any specific needs you may have. Communication is key, so I’m always open to discussing any additional preferences you have to ensure your pets feel happy and safe while I care for them.

About: With volunteer experience for the Humane Society, and running a rescue for cats with my mother for six years, I can safely say that I am well versed in pet care. I've dog sat many a time for friends and family, and treat every dog like they are my own. My schedule is currently entirely flexible, allowing me to offer any length or time of pet sitting needed for my clients. I have no current restrictions. Anything the pets might need, bathing, clipping nail, etc. I can do. Even if they just need a friend to cuddle. I can also administer oral medications to both cats and dogs.

About: I care about them as if they were my own. They don't live as long as humans so they deserve the best life we can give them while they're here. The only experience and knowledge I have of dogs and cats is what I've learned on my own with my pets throughout my life. I don't have a job so my availability is mostly flexible. Looking for extra money, I don't have any special skills I just need extra money and love dogs and cats. The only thing I can think of that puts me apart from other services/sitters is the desire and drive to complete any task, besides my love for pets, I have a great work ethic that helps me be motivated to ensure every step was taken in completing a task. Money is also a great motivator but isn't the saying "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life", that's a great interpretation of my work ethic. I'm currently unemployed. I usually have availability on Saturday, and Sunday. If I am available during the weekend I will update my schedule, otherwise that's my availability. I cannot offer boarding in my home because I live in an apartment where each pet in my home needs to be paid for and accounted for by my apartment management but I will treat your animals and living spaces like royalty and respect all responsibilities asked of me while I care for your pets in your home.

About: I grew up on a dairy farm and learned the importance of responsibility and reliability. I currently take care of my son's animals when he travels and I take care of my neighbors animals when she travels. I've been rescuing animals my entire life, including rehabilitation and Rehoming. I have dealt with daily medication also, for both dogs and cats. I am currently retired so this is my only job. I have my own dogs and cat, but I have a ton of time to take care of your pets. Fresh water is essential and a clean atmosphere to keep pets healthy. Petting time and play time is also important for your pets mental health especially when pet parents are away.

About: I have personally taken care of my own dog(s), family members pets, and friends pets for most of my life. I have worked with senior dogs, puppies, kittens, blind dogs, and special needs dogs before. As of now, I take care of my dog Estrella (Boston Terrier) and my other dog Sirena (Labradoodle). Besides this, I also live with two of my roommates kitties! I always make sure to pay special attention towards the furry friends I take care of, always following the rules provided by their owner. About: I am a very trusting passionate pet owner. My husband loves animals and is great with them as well, hes always available to help. I have been a pet owner all my life, and consider them family. We have 6 dogs in the house, and a fully fenced yard. I am also the rescue coordinator for a tampa based rescue. I have administered medication to animals in the past, so i am experienced with that. We are able to take any type of dog, we are able to keep pets separate if needed. I volunteer with many shelter In tampa and have references as needed. I am a stay at home dog mom and business owner. I am home all day minus errand runs. Dogs will go outside many times a day on schedule. We have several crates and baby gates to keep dogs separate if needed. All our dogs are crate trained and are able to be put up in a dangerous situation.

About: I have been watching dogs since I was 8 years old. I have bred German Shepherd puppies most of my life with my family. Dogs are my passion and I love them lots! Would love to watch yours! Love working in The Villages as well! I work remote so I have the ability to watch dogs and even sit with them for a while and let them roam around while I work.
