About: I grew up with plenty of cats and dogs in and outside the home. At 12, I started a "business" dog walking and learning how to give shots to a diabetic cat. For a few years I also worked with 4Pawed Redemption, a veteran-run non-profit designed to help rehome military family pets. I also successfully trained my own pup to qualify as a service animal to help a friend in need, but care doesn't stop with dogs! I've also helped with ferrets, snakes, tortoises and parakeets before-just please no tarantulas! Hope you find the help you're looking for :) Currently working part-time before going to college in August, but I have plenty of time to work around nearly any schedule within my range, and with most addresses in Batesville I can even visit the local dog park! I always ask up front about any allergies or sensitivities your pet might have, in addition to what training they have gone through and their everyday personality. By knowing how they usually act, I'm better able to help them with any signs of nervousness or anxiety and adjust their care accordingly, so it's not just about food and water with me :)

This allows me to provide pet care services such as morning, midday, and evening visits, as well as weekend and overnight care when arranged in advance. My proximity and flexible schedule mean your pets can still receive attentive, timely care—even on short notice. In addition to in-home visits, I also offer pet care at my own home, which is fully pet-friendly and secure. I have a safely fenced-in yard perfect for playtime and outdoor exercise, along with indoor space designed for comfort and supervision. Crates are available if your pet is crate-trained or needs a quiet, cozy space to relax. Whether it’s for the day, overnight, or extended stays, your pet will be cared for in a loving, structured environment—just like part of the family.

I have a scardy cat, who hides from all new people, and i had never before left him with anyone. I had a situation arise where i had to go out of state for a few days, and i was so stressed about the thought of leaving my kitty with anyone. Toughest decision of my life. I literally found Melissa a day before making my trip, and she came and was shockingly able to get up close to my cat take pictures daily of him for me, and made sure he was ok.
