“Claire did a great job of bonding with our beagle. Bailey can get a bit of separation anxiety when we leave her, but Claire stuck with it and the two ended up getting along well. Also, she left the house probably cleaner than we left it. We would absolutely hire her again.”

About: I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love caring for animals. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and needs—whether that’s playtime, quiet companionship, or extra attention. You can count on me to treat your pet like family and keep you updated so you always feel at ease. I take care of my three cats morning and night, feeding them three times a day with fresh water at every meal. This routine has taught me the importance of consistency, attention, and creating a calm environment for pets. I’m experienced in providing loving care, monitoring their needs closely, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. I no longer have my dog, but I am more than comfortable with dogs as well! When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize maintaining their regular routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I follow your instructions carefully, whether it’s feeding schedules, exercise, or medication—and give each pet plenty of attention and affection. I make sure their environment stays clean and safe, and I provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

“Emily was great! She house sat and watched my boy Bruce for three nights. I was provided with regular updates, she asked questions and was a prompt responder throughout the whole process. I came back to a clean house and a happy dog. I would use Emily again in a heartbeat and definitely recommend!”

“Ashlend was awesome! I found her very last minute due to some last minute plans. Even though she already had other dogs she was taking care of she made it work. She made sure to come meet everyone ahead of time and sent sweet pictures. When we got home it was like we never left because I think everyone was so comfortable with Ashlend here. Highly recommend!”

About: Animals have always had an extremely special place in my heart. Ever since I was a kid I’ve helped care for my family’s own pets: feeding them, caring for their health, giving baths, taking them outside and on walks, and pretty much anything else having a pet entails. I also am in the process of beginning volunteering with the cats and dogs at Lawrence Humane Society! I am a full-time student, but I am available whenever I am not busy with classes. I also have a few volunteering shifts throughout each week that I need to work around, and a job (that I will be done with next month). I provide them with food and water, clean up their litter, play with them, take the dogs on walks, and show all the animals lots of love! I am also flexible and open to doing whatever I am able to.

“I have used Amber a few times now, and I can't say enough good things. The way she takes care of our home and our puppy is unmatched. The peace of mind we have when we leave is priceless.”

“Kim was fantastic! We needed a last minute sitter for New Year’s Eve weekend and are so happy we found her. About: Hello, I am a knowledgeable and experienced pet care professional! I got my start pet sitting when I was very young. I’d hang flyers up around town and have my parents drive me from job to job. I then went on to work in doggy daycare, grooming, and vet med, and I currently work at a local vet clinic! I have experience with all pets, any breed or size. I have experience with sick or elderly pets, puppies/kittens, or any others with special needs. I also have experience with anxious or aggressive dogs, and I really enjoy seeing those types of dogs come out of their shell. Doggy daycare taught me how to handle lots of dogs at once and I’m good at reading body language to keep everyone safe and happy! I like to stay active and outdoors, so I can take your dog on a long brisk walk or jog. My experience in vet med gives me expertise at understanding the subtle signs of sickness or injury and will let you know if I see something I believe needs to be addressed by your regular veterinarian. Pet care is not just my hobby, it’s my life! I currently work full time at a vet clinic. I am off every Tuesday and Sunday, and every other Wednesday. I’m available daily after 6pm! I have a proven track record of trustworthiness. My friends and neighbors have trusted me with their beloved pets and homes since I was a teen. This is a trust I take very seriously. Most of my pet care has taken place in clients own homes and I strive to be respectful and noninvasive. I have always been taught to either leave things better than I found them or leave no trace. Your privacy is important to me!

Emily F.
“I’ve known Emily for 6 years and watched her grow into the most amazing mother, however, her first “baby” was her dog, Milli! She is attentive and kind, and she truly treats animals like family. In the time I’ve known Emily, she has been nothing short of trustworthy, punctual and caring. Since I’ve known her, she has worked with toddlers in a daycare, elderly people in a nursing home and families as a nanny. The next step is watching fur babies! I couldn’t recommend her enough!”

Case S.
“Case has watched our dogs for the past several years. My partner and I previously lived in Oklahoma and had 2 dogs at the time, both of which Case watched on several occasions. Our pups were always excited to see Case and well cared for during our time away. Most recently, we traveled back to OK for a family wedding and Case watched our dog during that time. Our dog has special dietary needs and Case was very conscientious and respectful of this. He is attentive, cautious, and responsible. Case clearly loves dogs and will make a great dog owner one day. Until then, let him love yours!”
