About: I bring a lifelong love of animals and a wide range of hands-on experience. I grew up caring for animals of all kinds, have walked dogs and supported adoptions in shelter environments, and have provided reliable in-home care through years of house sitting. I’ve also lived with and fostered cats for most of my life—including young, feral, and undersocialized ones—which has given me a strong intuition for reading animal behavior and offering calm, compassionate care. About: I’ve had both cats and dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been second nature. I adopted my two cats at 18, and they’ve been with me through every chapter, college, a couple summers in Hawaii, and beyond. I grew up with a Boston Terrier and had a Great Pyrenees during college, both of whom I loved deeply and cared for daily. From energetic puppies to older dogs who need extra patience and gentleness, I’ve worked with pets of all ages and temperaments. I started pet sitting at 11, and my first real job at 13 was walking my neighbor’s Border Collies. Throughout high school, pet sitting and dog walking were how I earned money. I’ve continued to care for cats and dogs into adulthood, offering everything from walks and feedings to medication and companionship. I treat every pet like family and always show up with care, reliability, and genuine love. I’m a Pilates instructor here in Maine, so my schedule is super flexible. I’m available for pet sitting, drop-ins, and walks on most weekdays (especially afternoons and evenings) as well as weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine! I care for pets in their own homes, where they feel most comfortable. I’m experienced with crating, feeding routines, medications, and giving pets the attention and structure they need. About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes from 10lbs to 100+ lbs, ages puppy to senior, all with various temperaments, energy levels and medical needs. I’ve also cared for many cats ranging from 2 years old to 13 years old I’m a middle school teacher on summer break with A LOT of availability. I regularly free weekdays during the day through the evening and even available at night and through the night most days of the week. I have a large fenced in yard with that’s mostly shaded by surrounding trees. With easy access from a back deck. We also have a screened in porch for good airflow on hotter days. I live in a nice and walkable neighborhood and I regularly visit local walking/hiking trails in the area.

About: Hello, my name is Vicki and I absolutely love animals. I used to work at a doggie daycare which was amazing. Now I work a Mon-Fri 8am-5pm job which gives me a lot of free time. I am comfortable with all size and shapes of dogs as I own and live with a 125lb rottweiler and 50 hound/pit mix. So if you have a big house horse that needs a strong walker I'm more than comfortable with that. But I also have two cats that are 7 and 9 pounds so I'm very happy with a small cuddle buddy as well. On top of dogs and cats I have taken care of lizards, fish, and a bird. If your baby has a heartbeat and love I can't wait to spend time with them. As stated above I work 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday so I am not out super late or early in the morning. I like to take my own dogs on adventure walks/hikes after I get home and on weekends. As I will be staying in your home I like to come by before the stay so that A: you and your pet can meet me and to B: ask you about the routine in your home. Whether you have rooms, crates, eating schedules, medication etc. I am also more than happy to read any lists or guides that you feel the need to leave as it helps me to make sure nothing is overlooked or forgotten.

About: *Recently moved to Yarmouth, Maine and back on Rover - accepting new clients* 🐾 🐾 Rates 🐾 🐾 I am happy to travel but may need to add a mileage fee for bookings outside of my 15 minute radius. All rates are negotiable. *Boarding: I only host 1 family's pets at a time. This provides a safer environment for your pet and an "at home" feel with plenty of attention, especially for reactive or aging dogs. I don't use crates or kennels but if you want to bring yours along that is fine, I also have 1 medium sized crate on hand if needed. I have a very clean home and welcome pets to feel comfortable if they would like to snooze on the sofas, bed, and we have a secure fenced in yard, but I do not leave dogs unattended in the yard. I usually take my dog to the local dog parks and nature trails and would bring yours along too. 🐾 🐾 Basic Info 🐾 🐾 I am an EMT, certified in Pet CPR + First Aid. For the past 25 years, I have been an animal caretaker. My favorite part is getting to know all of the different breeds and personalities. Your pets will be treated with love, and be as comfortable in my home as yours. I always send lots of photos at the end of each day. 🐾 🐾 My daily schedule 🐾 🐾 I work from home as a university professor. My position is remote, so I am able to work anywhere with a wifi connection. I work for rover occasionally and my schedule is typically super organized and flexible. We do at least 2 active hours per day- and we try to squeeze in as many hikes as possible. My boyfriend is also very helpful with the dogs- if they are up for it, he will take them jogging every night.
