About: I'm from PR, and I've been a dog rescuer since 2013. I have tons of experience caring for animals and giving them the love and treatment that they deserve. I love what I do. I retire and moved to Pittsburgh on February, 2023. It makes me a perfect match for your doggy. I will treat them as if they were mine. NO cages. I have a fenced runner connected to the pets' room that allows them to safely go in and out whenever they want. You can bring their bed or any special toys. I foster rescued dogs from PR that came to Pittsburgh looking for a second chance of life, and the money earn through Rover is used to cover their traveling expenses. I work from home, and my office is in the room where they will spend their stay, so they will be with me most of the day, and they will be able to play with my own dogs under supervision. If they are potty trained and well behaved, they will have permission to access all the house. To be able to satisfy you pup's needs, I will ask you to write down your special instructions and promise I will follow them as written. You will receive a lot of daily pictures of your furry friends.

“Becca and Stephan were amazing! They were willing to accept all the special requests and I felt comfortable leaving my dog with them. Poe is looking forward to seeing them again today!”

“Mailey took excellent care of my puppy, who came back to me tired and happy after hanging out with her very sweet dog Dexter. I got updates and quick replies to questions and she made it obvious she was available and committed. She was a perfect sitter and exactly what we needed, and on such short notice too. I appreciate it a ton and would recommend her in a second, we’ll definitely be hoping she is available the next time we need someone to watch Lily.”

15. Nicole I.
“I’ve known Nicole for over 10 years, and she’s truly one of the most compassionate, reliable, and nurturing people I know. Her love for animals runs deep—she only rescues her pets, which says everything about the size of her heart. Currently, she’s mom to a beautiful furry family: her sweet dogs Penelope and Miss Millie Bean (her most recent rescue-turned-foster-fail), three kitties—Romeo, Bella, and Willow—whom she and her husband lovingly nursed back to health, and two adorable bunnies, Freckles and Zinnia. She’s also the proud auntie and caretaker to her parents’ pup, Honey. Nicole treats every animal like family, and her calm, gentle energy is something pets instinctively trust. She’s also incredibly thoughtful and dependable, which makes her a total dream when it comes to communication and care. Anyone would be lucky to have Nicole looking after their beloved pets—she’s the real deal.”
