About: I have owned animals all my life and have plenty of enrichment activities- snuffle matts, snuffle balls, puzzle toys, regular toys, and a big yard to play in! I love animals and this is currently a full time job for me being a pet sitter and owner. I make my dog my life and we go for walks and adventures daily. I make a schedule for my own dog, which includes puzzle toys for breakfast, an afternoon walk or adventure, snuffle mats and balls for later, and plenty of cuddles throughout the day!

About: Animal lover with a passion for caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Reliable, patient, and attentive, with a focus on keeping pets safe, active, and happy on every walk. I'm currently not working, so I have plenty of time to cuddle and take care of your pets! My availability is wide open! Limited weekend hours. My home isn't pet friendly as my cats don't like friends. So any pet watching would have to be at your house or outside or another location.
“Clarke is a wonderful dog walker: responsible, communicative, dependable, and wonderful with our little dog. She fed, watered, and walked Bitty without fail, which completely put my mind at ease. Since she goes away to college, she’s not always in Michigan, but I’ll want her to help care for Bitty wheboshe has time.”

“Courtney was wonderful! She was prompt and communicative. She was very considerate of my requests including Blue's hurt toe- so she took Blue on a shorter gentle walk and then gave her some fun time in the yard. I will definitely reach out to Courtney again!”

About: Pet sitter with 10 years experience. 5 years veterinary experience as well as training and grooming experience. I've never had a job that didn't involve animals and I would never change that. My passion for animal care is unmatched and I truly love what I do. I'm able to provide an array of different services including but not limited to day long hikes as well as beach trips. Whether your furry friend needs a quick 30-minute walk or an all-day adventure, I've got you covered! Mine and my fiancé's life revolves around our own 2 dogs and they are spoiled rotten. They're the reason I get up in the morning, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. From 6 am wake-up calls for puppy cuddles to 10 pm bedtime stories (yes, you read that right - my dogs love a good bedtime story!), our fur babies are the center of our universe. Some fun facts about me are I played competitive travel softball for 13 years - I'm talking national championships, folks! And in my free time, when not hiking with my own dogs or yours, I love to get creative with pottery. It's my go-to stress-reliever, and I hope to open my own studio one day. But enough about me - let's talk about your furry friend! What are their favorite toys, treats, and activities!! Tell me everything, and let's get this paw-some adventure started! I’m currently working full time as a pet sitter!! So if you need someone reliable and consistent please feel free to reach out! I’m here for you :) I’m currently working with no yard so we have changed the “normal” we plan 1 adventure a day for boarding dogs weather that be a long hike.. a trip to the beach or in indoor activity in a pet friendly store you’re pup will be well occupied. Boarding pups will also get multiple 15-30 min walks a day and have full access to my home. I have 2 pups who are 2 different activity levels so someone will always have a friend. The toy basket is bottomless and the couch is fair game :) when your pup stays with me they will always be the number 1 priority.
“Owen came to walk our big Shepsky while we were out of town. My dog loved him! Owen was reliable, friendly, and clearly really good with dogs. We will definitely use him again in the future! Thank you from Timber and us!”

We are experienced with large dogs such as Great Danes, small dogs such like shitzu’s and cats. About: I have taken care of pets my entire life. Growing up I had 6 fish, 2 bunnies, 2 Guinea Pigs, and a dog. I would often pet sit for many of my neighbors. Working at a wildlife shelter gave me experience caring for and handling wild animals. Working at a veterinary clinic I learned how to work in a team with animals, and how to make sure that pets get the care they need, even under pressure. I am available three days every week. I will allow notice of care how ever many days in advance you need, and a day of cancellation policy. Unfortunately I live in a dorm, and cannot house pets in my apartment. How ever, I have a reliable car and can drive anywhere needed, as well as transport dogs any where needed.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
