About: I have always had dogs growing up as a kid. Then I started dog sitting for my neighbors and realized what I wanted to do in life was take care of animals for the rest of my life. Went to college to become and vet tech and currently help out with locals rabies clinics every spring. I am currently working full time in Rutland city. And I work every third Saturday only until 2pm. I am available to run out at lunchtime. I currently live on a farm,and my boyfriend's dog is a super friendly lab who loves to play ball. I do have a crate available if need be.

“Hannie is the best. She lets me sniff everything and explore. When I want to run, she runs with me and when I am the goodest girl, she gives me an extra scratch and a treat. We have the best conversations about the squirrels and the birds. She even teaches me how to jump over things, under things and goes in the water with me. When we go for a car ride to get to the best sniffing spot, she hooks me in just like my mom does. She also knows how to give the best scratches. When I'm a little cranky, she takes me home and we curl up for a nap. I know she likes my kisses and she even runs zoomies with me when I get excited! Hannie is the best and I get so excited to see her. She even cleans up after me and doesn't make a fuss!”

About: My family grew up with dogs and cats; the animals are treated as family. Pet sitting (and baby sitting) were part of the routine from early on. My Consulting work is done remotely, which makes my schedule flexible for Rover assignments, and, additionally leaves ample Time for getting out on the trails with tails. I enjoy being out-of-doors, and hope that some time outside is part of your furriends’ daily care plan. I believe in sticking to the schedule that clients have established with their animals for meals, toileting, play time and quiet rest.

About: I was born an animal lover, starting with my love for horses I grew to fall in love with every creature I come in contact with. I've worked on farms from the age of 10 so I could get horse back riding lessons. Then worked my way to full time groom at a performance horse stable at the age of 16. At the age of 17 I started working as a part time kennel attendant at a veterinary hospital and moving up to a technician assistant, then vet tech. I have also been a full time pet groomer for 7 years. Helping to run a fantastic grooming salon that specializes in cats and medical/behavior issued animals that has strengthened my abilities and attention to details in caring for pets of all types and sizes! My daily schedule is currently wide open while i make my dream come true of building my very own grooming salon here in the mountains of Vermont. I have a fenced yard that your pups are free to roam in while being attended. They will also have the ability to play or socialize with my 3 dogs as long as they get along! If I stay at your home I will stick to any routine you have with your pets and treat them as my own. I am very active and love a good walk or hike in the woods.

Policies Hi, I'm Mary! 14 years ago, My pup Lee and I started the business of walking city streets, running, swimming, hiking, boarding friends, and house sitting; all in the name of dog! Since his passing, my twin four year olds and I are looking forward to making new pupper friends. We live in a beautiful home on an organic farm. This year marks the 14th year and third state in which I've tended to puppies, dogs and senior puppers. Since moving to Vermont 8 years ago, my home has been referred to as "farm camp." This is because: pups who are able to enjoy the farm experience off leash! While I enjoy tending to the greater dog population in its entirety, senior dogs, ones who take medications, those living with physical and developmental ailments and pups nearing end of life are my specialty. While the latest DSM may not have nature deficit disorder printed on its pages, I know it effects not only people but more importantly, dogs! I value and understand that exercise specifically in the wilderness provides a focused energy released followed by contentment. Starting in Providence, R.I., Lee and I took off walking city dogs. Over time, I curated two hiking packs of dogs. All off leash, good recall and, worked together navigating trails with minimal tiffs. Between my city walkers and packs, I began boarding. While I had my regulars, I wanted to offer support in other ways. Middle of the night emergency visits, families dealing with unforeseen events and parents who needed a break even though, their pup was nearing end of life. I've waited with dogs to board planes and have been at the airport to pick them up. Arranging wedding arrivals/departures and transport to/from vets. On several occasions, I've had the honor of being there for a pup's end of life. Since this is a new space for your pup, it's important that we stick to your in home structure as much as possible. This allows them to feel more comfortable and stress free. This means I will ask for a list of usual commands, eating times, toys, blankets and beds. If your pup has any quirks, I like to know! The more information, the better! When scheduling pick up and drop off times: if you're going to be late please kindly send a text update. I am extremely flexible with times! Not communicating information is a big issue and can lead to scheduling conflicts. For every 45 minutes that you're late and lack communication you will be charged an additional $10. My rate for overnight stays are based on a 24 hour period. If your drop off to pick up time goes over the 24 hour period, I charge a prorated amount to match the time difference. If your drop off to pick up time is less then 24 hours, it is a flat rate of $40. Thanks for reading and I look forward to speaking with you. About: I've taken care of many different types of animals including dogs, cats, birds, pigs, guinea pigs, and rabbits. They've been all different breeds and sizes. I am willing to travel to your home so that your pet can stay in a familiar and safe environment for them. I work full time during the summer but am available throughout the day to stop at the house when needed and am available for overnights. I like to meet with potential clients beforehand so that they can get to know me and that I can also learn more about their pets, house, and typical schedules. About: I have taken care of pets since I was a little kid! I have experience with pets of all types, ages & personalities. Friends & family have relied on me to walk, feed & housesit for their animals. I work full time time job but I have most mornings free. My schedule rotates so I would not be able to have the same availability every week, but please reach out with dates & times! I would love to make something work. I can come to your house and walk your dog. If you are interested in an overnight board at my house the dog would have to be good with my 15lb poodle mix & two cats. It would be ideal that the dog comes with a crate to stay in, as my dog is crated as well when we are out of the house. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I live near a dog park, and in a nice spot to walk dogs.

About: From raising/training puppies to saying goodbye to our senior dogs, I cannot imagine a life without them! Friends who know me have called me dog magnet. :) I may not love your dogs as much as you but I'll probably be a very close second! I will respect whatever your training and dog guidance needs are, minus the use of shock collars or other harsh means of discipline. I am knowledgeable of puppy/dog training measures to help your dog be successful! I am retired so can now do what I love! My schedule is very flexible. Let me know what you need and we can see if it can work out! I live on a dead end road and have a partially fenced yard that includes 2- 50' runs if your pup needs to be leashed. There is a park down the road and I am an avid walker and a believer that most all dogs benefit from walks and from being outdoors.
