About: I have had dogs my whole life, for as long as I can remember we always had 3 dogs. I've been pet sitting on-and-off since I was a teenager and have experience caring for all ages and sizes! I worked for Angel of Hope Animal Shelter for over two years as their marketing specialist (2019-2021), after I left and accepted a different position, I stayed on as a foster parent for awhile before I had to officially resign - I was switched to night-shift at work and was no longer able to continue care at the standard I wanted. I have experience working with tripod (three-legged) dogs and cats, administering oral medications, and treating diabetes/administering insulin to cats. I am passionate about pets and dedicated to their well-being, I offer top-notch dog walking and pet care services that ensure your furry friends are happy, healthy, and loved. I have several years of experience and a genuine love for animals. I'm happy to work with you and come up with a personalized care plan tailored to each of your pet's unique needs. Whether it's a leisurely walk, playtime, or specialized care, your furry family members will feel right at home with me. I am trustworthy, reliable, and committed to excellence. I am here to give your furry family members the care and attention they deserve! I have pretty flexible schedule. 2-3 days a week I’m in Minneapolis from 8-5, I can switch those days up as well to work around clients, the rest of the week I work from home. Caring for pets in my client's home involves a personalized and attentive approach to ensure each pet feels comfortable and loved. Here's how I do it: 1. Initial Meet & Greet: I always start with a supervised meet & greet. I’ll work with you to understand your pet's routine, preferences, and any special needs or medical requirements. This also helps the pets feel more comfortable with later drop in visits when their pawrents aren’t home. 2. Customized Care Plans: Based on the consultation, I’ll work with you to create a customized care plan tailored to your pet's unique needs, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special care instructions. 3. Comfort and Familiarity: I prioritize making your pet feel safe and comfortable in their home environment by maintaining their usual routine. 4. Daily Walks and Exercise: For dogs, I offer daily walks and playtime to ensure they get the physical activity and mental stimulation they need. 5. Feeding and Hydration: I follow your specified feeding schedule and dietary requirements, ensuring your pets are well-fed and hydrated. 6. Health and Hygiene: I will monitor your pet's health, administer any necessary medications, and maintain their grooming and hygiene needs. 7. Communication and Updates: I’ll keep you informed with regular updates, photos, and videos of your pet, so you can have peace of mind knowing they are in good hands. 8. Emergency Preparedness: I am trained to handle emergencies and have a plan in place for any unexpected situations, ensuring your pet's safety at all times. By offering comprehensive, compassionate, and reliable care, I strive to make every pet feel at home and every pet owner feel confident in their choice of care provider.

“I was nervous about using a drop-in cat sitter, but this experience has completely removed my anxiety. Lauren was happy to meet us and our two kitties ahead of time to ensure we were aligned on their needs while we were away. She went above and beyond for us and our two cats. We asked her to drop in daily and we are confident our kitties were well cared for. Her communication was exceptional: the updates contained just enough detail and photos. The updates also felt personal to our kitties versus just a simple three sentence generic update. We will absolutely ask her to watch them the next time we leave town!”

“Rheanna was great! She communicated very well and gets along really well with animals. She’s truly a natural and isn’t afraid to give them medicine and lots of cuddles and attention.”

“Ciboney is so thoughtful and kind. We asked to schedule a drop in visit before our kitty’s extended stay and she was very accommodating- and so fun to meet! We ended up chatting over some tea. I absolutely trust her with my little one and recommend her :)”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was a child, and my neighbors and friends have trusted me with their pets for many years. I’m a big lover of animals and really enjoy going on walks, so I’d be more than happy to help care for your pets in any way I can! I’m currently a full-time student, so I’m most available on weekdays after 3pm and on weekends. I’ll be graduating in May, and after that I’ll have a lot more flexibility in my schedule. I really enjoy getting outside and spending time with animals, so pet care fits in naturally with my routine! I always try to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and treat your home with respect while I’m there. Safety is really important to me, whether that’s making sure your dog is secure on walks or that everything is taken care of during a drop-in visit. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is doing well!
About: I have 2 older BIG dogs and 2 cats. Not afraid of anything that comes out of them lol. Patience and love go a long way with animals. I never leave them unattended as there are lots of neighbor dogs.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Center City. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
