“Carol did a wonderful job taking care of my pup! She was flexible with the time and picking up/dropping off. She was patient when my doorman had trouble finding my key to get into the apartment. She was able to give my pup eye drops as well. I’m very pleased with her service and will definitely be requesting her in the future!”
“Wendy loved having Sadie and she came back happy and fed. She also included pictures of her playing with others and loved the experience. Hope to use her again when we have to go out for the day!”

“Kylie was great! Baxter was safe and happy while in her care, and she was very easy to work with. Will definitely plan to have Kylie watch him again when we’re in town. Highly recommend!”

About: Hello! I have had dogs my whole life, I love a good walk or run as do the dogs! All dogs need love and pets every day! hello! I am a sophomore at the university of Wyoming! I have a decently open schedule and am free of whatever makes your dog happy I strongly dislike when my dogs have to be kenneld. I would hate for your puppies to experience to much kennel time as well! My puppies get plenty of play time and water as will yours!
About: Hi there! I'm a teacher who has extra time to spoil your pets this summer! I'll be moving away from Reno at the start of August, so I won't be able to accept any requests that are after July. I have two active pups of my own, Phoebe and Mabel, so if you're interested in doggy daycare, we'll require a meet-and-greet to ensure everyone gets along first :) I grew up surrounded by many animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, small rodents) and learned how to take care of them at a young age. Outside of my own family, I have house/dog sat for many families and friends with a wide range of animal care needs. I absolutely love giving animals the attention and love they deserve while providing the care they need. I know the stress that comes with leaving my animals in someone else's care, so my goal is to minimize that stress for you through frequent communication and updates on how your pets are doing. My compassion, attention to detail, and positive energy make me well-suited for taking care of your furry friends! Having the summer off as a teacher makes my schedule very flexible right now. This gives me extra time to spend with your loved ones! Your pet's comfort and safety is my top priority when in my care. I will follow all instructions carefully and provide them with extra love and attention. You can count on regular potty breaks, play time/exercise, and cuddles at the minimum!
“Perfect dog sitter! Very prompt with drop-off and pick up. Our dog is usually fairly stressed when we travel and she was at ease when we picked her up. It was good knowing our dog was in good hands when we had to be away. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been a dog parent for over 5 years and understand how important it is to meet each dog where they’re at, whether that means slow walks, playtime, or just quiet companionship. I’m a collegiate runner who’s happy to go at any pace your dog prefers, and I’m always attentive to their mood and needs. I’ve cared for puppies, seniors, and shy dogs, and I pride myself on being gentle, patient, and detail-oriented with every pup I meet. I run in the mornings, but outside of that I’m flexible and available day or night to care for your dog. Whether it’s a midday walk, an evening check-in, or overnight care, I’m happy to adjust to your dog’s routine. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life, I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe and happy while you're away. I treat every dog with the same level of care and attention I give my own. Whether I’m in your home or they’re with me, I keep the environment calm, clean, and tailored to their needs, always respecting their space, routines, and personalities. I pay close attention to details like feeding instructions, leash safety, and how they respond to new surroundings. My goal is to make your pup feel comfortable, secure, and loved while you’re away.
About: I have experience with all different kinds and size animals. I grew up on a cattle ranch and competed in 4h. My family has never had less than 5 dogs at the house that ranged all the way from yorkies to, herlers to, corgis to, pyrenees. I own a mastiff/Dane/ Corso mix of my own who is the biggest gentle giant. So I understand working dogs and excited dogs and even lazy dogs. I think it’s important for our pets to have consistency with food schedules, walks, outdoor time, and night time routines to help them feel comfortable. I also grew up sneaking barn cats home and had to learn to tame them so I’ve experienced some pretty feral kittens who turn out being so sweet. Our pets mean so much to us. I am currently working part time and have a flexible schedule! I always have my phone on me and can make myself available especially incase of emergencies. I believe it’s important to make sure dogs get plenty of outdoor time and exercise, It’s also very important to me to keep pets on a consistent schedule to help make them a little more comfortable. Being a pet owner myself helps me understand how important our pets really are.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Centennial
Carol was amazing! My dog stayed with her while I did a hike in the area and she was more than flexible and understanding about drop-off/pickup times since I didn’t have service most of the time. She gave great recommendations for other stuff in the area and my dog Butter definitely enjoyed her time there as well since she slept the whole way home the next day! Will definitely be staying with her next time.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
