About: Hello! My name is Amber. I’m currently available to pet sit in Lima and surrounding areas! Dogs are one of my great loves in life. I previously worked at a no-kill shelter in Columbus, Ohio where I worked with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I am comfortable with many temperaments—I haven’t yet met an anxious dog who didn’t warm up to me quickly—but if your dog has any aggression issues, I am not comfortable accepting the request. If needed, I can administer oral medication; I do not have experience with needles. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker, who adapts quickly to new surroundings. I am generally pretty quiet, and I always respect my surroundings. Just like I treat your pets like my own, the same goes for your home. I always make sure it is clean and well kept. By trusting me with the care of your home and your pets, you are giving me the opportunity to do what I love, so there is no question that I will go above and beyond what is expected of me. About: Hello everyone! I’m happy to be of service for you and your animals. I have many years of experience with dogs. I grew up with animals in my childhood home and am very comfortable with animals of all shapes, sizes, and ages. I have trained, raised and cared for several dogs myself. Daisy was a golden retriever, Zoe was my golden rough collie mutt, Molly was my 10-lb mutt, Charlie was my very sick mutt, Jess was my hyper husky blue heeler mutt, and now I have Frida. Frida is a sweet girl who loves to work. She is a border collie Australian Shepard mutt who came with me from ND. We are working on learning tricks and trying our hand at herding. Yes when I am with your dog we will work on basic obedience, manners, games, and tricks if you should like. I also have some experience with cats and would love more experience. I fostered a very sick kitten last year and have been around lots of friends’ and families’ cats. If there should be other animals that I have not worked with before, I would be happy to learn how to do so. And I would take my time to ensure I follow your care instructions thoroughly. I can offer you a significantly lower rate if you want me to stay in your home and you allow Frida to be with me. Otherwise she will be kenneled in the car while I am in your home (if you are wanting me to spend the night in your home). I realize most people will not want this, but I wanted to throw it out there as an option for you. Services in my home - Dogs are allowed on the furniture and bed. They will have structure, routine, and lots of love. Please bring your kennel. If you do not have one, I have a wire kennel that they will use while here. I do kennel Frida when I have to leave the house and cannot take her with me. Your dog will enjoy lots of play time with Frida. We have a six foot fence and dogs will always be supervised while we are outside. Frida and I also really enjoy our walks and your dog would be one of the pack. Yes, I do require a meet and greet to learn all about your animal before I will accept a booking. Thank you for understanding. Also, I am currently watching pets for people out of town. I go over in the morning to say hello to the cats, change water, fill food, clean litter box, and make sure they have optimal viewing spots by the windows to watch the birds. Then I return at night for play time, water plants, and make sure I repeat everything from the morning. I’d love to care for yours while you are away too! In my home I have a six foot fenced yard and a border collie policing the yard haha. I have one large wire kennel and one medium sized wire kennel that will house your dog should I need to run a quick errand. When I am in your home, I will be responsible and respectful. I will follow your house rules and keep your babies safe, loved, and cared for.

About: I've personally had three dogs in my home while growing up. I have had bunnies, hamsters, fish, and frogs as well. I currently have four cats in my care and have taken care of other people's dogs. I am currently in school, gaining my certifications for pet boarding. About: Through and through Hoosier here. I am originally from Decatur, IN but relocated to the beautiful '07 of Fort Wayne! I went to college at IUFW for Medical Imaging and completed my Bachelor's degree. I am pursuing this opportunity to explore and familiarize myself more with the community - as well as all the amazing pups! I grew up with 3 dogs and a cat, so I am well versed in the fur baby community! I currently have a full time job Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday so I am looking to pick up some pet care work on Tuesdays and the weekends! I have a fenced in back yard as well and a large basement suited for caring for animals in an overnight manner. I do have a cat that lives in the house who will be on the second story.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 4 when I got my first dog. I currently have two cats and would love a dog but my schedule won't provide me enough time to take proper care of one. I am great with training puppies and giving medications. I’m currently a Preschool Intervention Specialist and have my own special education preschool classroom through Lima City Schools. I currently teach August-May. My availability mainly opens up during the summer but love to help out during the school year around my teaching contract. I look forward to working with you! I am currently off for the summer so I can attend to pet care as much or as little as you need. During the school year as long as your schedule works around my teaching contract, I will be able to help you out as much as I can! I have plenty of experience with small, medium, and big dogs. I would prefer to come to you but in the need to have your pet at my house, I am able to crate dogs as needed at my home as my house has an extra room. Plus my cats are very friendly or just stay to themselves so your animals will be in great care.

About: I’ve always loved animals! I can keep them if needed or come to your place of residence to walk and care for or to just play with, I have 5 pets of my own if I could have more I would haha, I’ve always had an animal for as long as I can remember, Iv taken care of quite a bit of animals most were rescued, I nursed them back to health and found new homes for them. At one point in time I took care of 7 new born kittens after they were thrown out and abandoned from their mother, I used to live on a farm and took care of farm animals from sun up till sun down, and now I have so much free time I don’t know what to do with it haha

About: I’ve owned my own cockerspaniel rescue dog for 10 years and grew up having dogs. I am used to and love animals of all kinds and have also cared for birds and cats. About: I have been a dog lover for much of my life! Growing up we had cats and smaller breed dogs. I begged my parents to allow me to watch our neighbors' dogs when they left town, and I was the go-to caretaker of our family's pets. As an adult, I have cared for 3 dogs of my own and currently we have 2 larger breed dogs. We adopted all of our dogs as puppies so I understand the adorable puppy moments, as well as the moments where puppies can be extra work. I've owned dogs into their senior years and how there can be limitation considerations and potentially and care required for health needs that come with age. I'm currently working part-time and manage a small business with my husband. Both are relatively flexible, especially if planned more than 1 week prior. Generally afternoons (after 1pm) are flexible. With advance planning, I can be available earlier in the day too. I can visit your home to care for your pets. If you have dogs and want me to provide exercise (walk or backyard play session), I can do so based on your preference. If you would like, I can also check on things inside such as water/food, or any other requested services (that I am able to provide).
