About: I've cared for dogs, cats, horses, and other animals from a young age, and they’ve always been an important part of my life. Working at an emergency veterinary clinic gave me hands-on experience handling animals with care and confidence, even in high-stress situations. As a lifelong pet owner, I understand how to create a safe, loving environment and set healthy boundaries. I also gained valuable insight into training through my own dog’s work with a professional trainer, which taught me practical techniques to support positive behavior day to day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine as I have a flexible schedule. This allows me to give pets the time, attention, and consistency they need—whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or extended care. I’m generally able to adjust my day around your pet’s schedule, making sure they feel safe, cared for, and never rushed. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I take the time to get to know each animal’s routine, personality, and any special needs or boundaries to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. I follow all client instructions carefully and keep you updated, so you can feel at ease while you're away. When caring for pets in your home, I’m respectful of your space and focused on keeping your pet’s environment calm and consistent. During walks I stay alert to surroundings, other animals, and people to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Every pet is unique, and I take pride in providing thoughtful, trustworthy care that helps them feel happy, safe, and loved.

“Lucia is obviously an animal lover. She visited Mac a few times before we left so he would get to know her. He’s very shy but eventually came out and sat on the couch, a big step for him. My home was in perfect condition when we returned. My mind was at ease the whole time we were away.”

About: I have previous experience in caring for an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix for long periods at a time. Being a high energy dog- I’m prepared for anything. I’m willing to help in whatever way I can- and provide your pet with love and attention! I have always had pets, but currently can’t afford to keep one myself. Growing up I had a Rottweiler and a Jack Russell, as I became a teenager we adopted a Pit Bull type dog who really changed my perception about the breed. I have high energy myself- so I love to be able to get dogs outside as much as possible and burn off a lot of their pent up energy. Dogs need it just as much as children do! I work a normal 9-5 job usually Monday- Friday but I have a partner who works from home, who I could argue loves pets as much as I do. I have a big yard and perfect sized home that is very safe for big and small pets as it is a single floor home. I do have a crate if needed for your fur baby and will treat them like my own pet.

About: I have been able to work with my Mom, helping to show dogs, foster kittens and cats and care for our family pets. I have learned the importance of keeping pets comfortable in their own home. I can adjust my schedule to be flexible. In this way I can fit the needs for you and your pet without added stress to you or them. In your home, your pets are my singular focus! They deserve all the attention and love just like you would provide for them. Letting them be themselves and respecting them is important to me.

About: Hello there! My name is Shannon O'Neill, and I am a passionate animal lover and dedicated pet owner based in Berlin, MD. I have had the utmost joy engaging in pet care for over the past ten years, and have a variety of experience with several types of breeds and dispositions. Providing a safe and loving experience for the dogs I work with is my highest priority, and I strive to go above and beyond for all of my clients. Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine, as I prioritize the well-being of the pets I walk and care for. I schedule dedicated time each day to ensure that each pet receives the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. Depending on the specific needs of the pet, I also adapt my routine to accommodate special care, such as administering medication, providing additional playtime, or catering to any dietary requirements. My goal is to provide a consistent and loving experience for each pet, ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well-cared for throughout the week. I provide personalized care based on the pet's needs, whether in my home or a client's. This includes regular feeding, exercise, playtime, and administering medications if needed. I ensure pets have a safe and comfortable environment, and I follow any specific instructions from pet owners to maintain their routines.

About: I have owned several dogs in my life time ! The love of my life, Spikey, was a mixed Maltese/Chihuahua, and lived to be 19 1/2 years old. I then adopted sweet Mary who ended up with health issues and she sadly passed in January 2024. I know how important it is to have peace of mind and be able to leave your fur babies in dependable hands. I work part time from home and have a lot of flexibility to provide whatever level of attention you wish for your pets. I prefer to take care of your pets at your home since that is the best to keep them in their environment. However, it's possible to arrange in my home. Your pets will be given loving attention. I like to know their routine and their favorite treats and toys to help lessen any separation anxiety. We will take walks if that is requested. I feel comfortable administering shots and medications and have plenty of experience. I work part time seasonally so have a lot of availability during certain times of the year. I miss having a pet but due to work and travel requirements I can’t take one on full time. I love helping take care of others pets and we will play and take walks every day. I don’t have a yard, but I do have a nice neighborhood for walking. My house is pet friendly and your pet will be treated as if they were my own.
