About: With a combination of over 45 years of hands-on pet care and ownership, we understand how to meet the unique needs of dogs, cats, and other small animals. From daily walks to specific dietary and other needs, we tailor care to match your pet's routine and personality! We're familiar with common training techniques/commands and behavior cues. We always treat your home with respect, ensuring cleanliness , safety, and security while you're away. You'll receive regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pets are thriving in our care! We do our best to go beyond basic pet sitting and provide a super loving and stress-free environment for your fur babies! We want to make sure your pets feel at home, even when you're away! I’ve incorporated daily and weekly pet care into my routine by setting aside specific times for feeding, grooming, play, and walks. It’s become a natural part of my schedule, and I enjoy the structure it brings to my day. Taking care of my pets is rewarding, and it helps me stay mindful of balancing responsibilities with quality time. I will come back to this. About: I have had dogs since for my entire life, so I have cared for all ages of dogs from puppies to seniors. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, spending time cuddling with senior dogs, and playing with puppies! I am currently a full time student at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. I have a few hours during the weekdays for potty breaks and feeding, and I am available on the weekends. I am willing to pet sit overnight in your home on weeknights, as well as weekends. My apartment is not pet-friendly, so I am not allowed to bring your pets to me, but I will drive to your home to care for your pets there. I will ensure to keep your pets safe, active, and content while you are away.

About: I grew up with a fur baby, pet sitting and walking for my neighbors, and helped train my parents two new mini bernedoodles! 🐾 Pets have always had a special place in my heart and I love to show them love! I am a nurse that works three days a week, mostly consisting of nights and weekends! This allows me to have lots of availability during weekdays as well as some weekends! :) When caring for your pets, my priority is their safety, comfort, and happiness! I will follow your instructions carefully; such as feeding/walk schedules, medication needs, and favorite toys or activities! She gave updated throughout the day and was very responsive if I had any questions. She helped adjust the dates when I accidentally booked an extra day. About: I grew up on a farm and have been loving pets for years! I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, parakeets, snakes, ducks, and chickens. I am easy going and flexible. I’m an educator, so my summer is free to take care of your pet! I have a vehicle, as well as a mini golden doodle who loves to play with other dogs. I am able to come to your home with my car, and I love going on walks anywhere. I play with cats and dogs with toys, and I make sure to talk to them and give them snuggles.

About: I have owned many dogs in my life time. I can deal with dogs who don’t do well on a leash as well as senior dogs. I am located in Iowa City I am starting a new job in the beginning of July so in the meantime I’m free every day for drop in visits or boarding. Once my job starts I will only be free Friday-Sunday I live in a safe apartment complex with a pad lock on the front door so your pet will be safe. Experience with many types of dogs.

About: I have grown up living with 2+ large dogs in the house always. I am a huge dog lover and love animals in general. Recently I have also become a cat owner. I’m currently a full-time student and part-time employee in a management position. I am looking to get a little more income and broaden my experience with pet care. I will not provide in home pet care. I will instead be able to come to clients homes to care for their pets. Thank you!

About: I have my own dog at home who I have grown up with. I have also grown up taking care of neighborhood dogs and my uncles dogs who I have taken care of since they were puppies. I have also taken care of many of my neighbors cats and other various pets. I am currently a full time student technically but I have a lot of open times that I would love to come hang out with some pets who just need some extra loving or taking care of. This also helps me have a break from life and focus on just spending quality time with some pets who are fun to be around. I always put the pet first. I make sure I remember times I went over or left and how long I have stayed at a residence so they have enough time outside of kennels or for play time. I want the pets to feel like they can be calm and chill or be crazy and I’ll play with them or walk them when they just need some energy out.

About: I have been the go-to neighborhood dog sitter ever since I was in junior high. Now I live in Iowa City with my husband and field retriever, Oakley, and am ready to continue opening my home to your pets! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. I work from home, so I am here all day for your pet. My typical routine with Oakley includes a lunch time walk and a post work hike at Hickory Hill. I’d love to bring your pup along for these adventures but can also cater to your pups individual needs/preferences and adjust as needed! We have a fenced in yard as well for the pups to run around in. I work full time from home, so I am able to attend to your dog throughout the day as needed. I typically play fetch or tug or something or the sort with my pup in the morning, take her for a walk ~1 mi walk over lunch, and for a 1-2 hour hike after work. I can adjust the level of activity as needed to match what you’re looking for! I have a fenced in yard (standard chain link so not suited for high jumpers) and an active pup for your dog to play with! I am comfortable crating your dog or leaving free roaming, whatever is your preference and your routine!

I am currently working full time at the college of dentistry but I get off work at 5 everyday and have weekends and holidays off. I live in an apartment so I wouldn’t be able to board your dogs but I am very respectful of someone’s home and will take great care of your dogs.
