“Rachel is definitely a "cat whisperer" as she was able to make friends with our very shy and reclusive 17 year old cat Julius! Within the first few days, Julius started to play with her and cuddle with her. He has never done this with a cat sitter before! We also really enjoyed the photos that Rachel sent almost daily of Julius. She provided him with lots of attention and took him to/from the vet for his injections 3x per week. We were very happy with the way that Rachel took care of the house. When it was time for her to leave, she made sure the dishes were washed, the bed linens and towels cleaned, and the bed remade. Everything was great! While Julius was happy to see us when we got home, I think he still misses the attention that Rachel gave him. When we go on vacation again, we would be very happy to have Rachel take care of Julius.”

About: Hello my name is Candida (Candi). I have worked in and with Rescues and Humane Societies throughout the State of WI over the last 30 years. I currently have 4 dogs and live out in the country with lots of room to run. I am very familiar with different behavior issues as well as how to work with your pets to get through those issues. This experience comes from fostering many high risk animals over the years. Your pet will be treated the same in my home as he/ she is treated in your home. If they go on your furniture, they are welcome on mine, etc. I am always willing to go the extra mile, if your pet needs a bath or a nail clip, I am happy to do that. I have experience with training, CPR, Giving Meds both by mouth and shot. Some of my friends lovingly call me the crazy dog lady because of my deep love for dogs, they have feelings and emotions just as we do and I always take that into consideration when caring for them. Given the opportunity I will show you that you can trust me to care for your baby while you are away just as you care for them when you are home. I currently work part time at my own small business so my schedule is super flexible and can be easily worked around your needs. This gives me the flexibility to give your pet all the time and attention they need while in my care. I have four dogs that are the sweetest babies. They get along great with all animals as well as kids. I do not have a fenced yard as we live on 80 acres out in the country, but I do have a portable temporary fencing that can be put up for outside time. We have a large area in the lower level of our home for inside play time. As I said earlier, when your pet is in my home, they will be treated just as they are when they are with you. I know how important routine is to their little minds. If you feed at a certain time, I will follow that routine. I know mine have a very set routine, they surely know when dinner time is. :o)

About: Hi there! Animals have been a part of my life for over 10 years. I grew up on a farm surrounded by all kinds of animals, which gave me a strong foundation in animal care from a young age. Over the years, I’ve continued to build on that experience in both personal and professional settings. I had the amazing opportunity to travel the country as a professional dog handler, showing dogs in AKC conformation shows. This gave me hands-on experience with many breeds and temperaments, and deepened my understanding of proper grooming, handling, and breed-specific care. I also spent five years working as a veterinary assistant, where I gained valuable experience with medical care, medications, and special-needs animals. If your pet requires medication or extra attention, you can rest assured they’ll be in capable and caring hands. In addition to pet sitting and walks, I’m happy to offer nail trims and other basic grooming care. I share my home with a sweet, neutered 15-year-old dachshund who’s incredibly friendly. While he doesn’t walk much these days, he enjoys riding along in his stroller and keeping me company. Today, I work in the human medical field, but animals will always hold a special place in my heart. I currently work Monday-Thursday, which allows me to take pets Fri-Saturday, but I can be flexible with evening check-ins or walks during the regular work week as well. Regular walks do more than just burn energy — they help dogs stay healthy, ease anxiety, and keep them mentally sharp. Plus, it gives them a chance to explore, smell new things, and just enjoy being a dog. I’d love to meet you and your pup and be a part of their daily routine! I do a lot of running and trail running so if you have an active dog, we could have a lot of fun. But I also enjoy slow paced walks and just enjoying the environment. As I have had inside/outside dogs most of my life, I will always contain pets into the areas that are available for them but not a caged containment unless needed.

About: I’ve been taking car of cats and dogs since I was old enough to know how. I’ve currently had my childhood dog living with me for about 6 years and we love to do all the things. We love car rides, dressing up, and playing out in nature when it’s warm. I work during the day with kids that have autism but my nights and weekends are free for all the four legged love I can get. I would love to communicate and work with every owner so their fur baby feels safe no matter what’s the environment. Trust is very important for both owners and animals when bringing in a new person so transparency is always best.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for my entire life! I have experience caring for big and small dogs of all ages, from puppies to the elderly. I took on the responsibility of training each of my family's dogs, so I am skilled in the area of obedience training for puppies and adolescent dogs. I am a very meticulous person and I follow every direct I'm given to a T, so I will make sure that your fur baby gets the best care and love possible. I am currently a high school student about to graduate and leave for college! From now until the end of the school year, I am available every weekday from 2-10. After May 31st, I will be working part-time, so I will have more than enough time during the summer to care for your fur babies! Although I do not offer services at my own house, I will make sure that your pet is as safe as can be wherever we are! The safety of anybody's pets is a top priority for any pet owner, including myself. Leaches and supervision are some of the most important tools that pet owners can use to keep their pets safe.

About: I have a love for animals and caring for them. I have two dogs of my own and I grew up on a farm taking care of animals everyday. I have a lot of free time and would love to help others out! About: I worked at a boarding facility for 3 1/2 years and have been currently working at a vet clinic for the last 4 years. I trained my dog myself, i am not certified as a trainer but am more than happy to work on things with your pet that I can at no extra charge! I am experienced in understanding dog behavior. Being that I work at a clinic I know some first aid care if needed. I take care of my pets everyday and will make extra time for yours. I’m usually done early on Tuesdays and thursdays and can stop by if needed and am typically available Friday-Sunday I always take precautions. I don’t allow any animals to eat meals together always to be safe. I usually spend the first night sleeping in my living room with our guest! I always take time to make sure the pet is comfortable in my home. I have gates set up in my home to give pets a break from each other if needed. All pets are allowed on my furniture. I typically will have my dogs in a seperate room so our guest can Roam the home without interruption so they can sniff it out. I bring my dogs out one at a time to meet our guest. If they are playful they get lots of playtime with my young dog Ember and if they are older and don’t like to play ember respects their boundaries and leaves them alone.
