“I am absolutely thrilled to have found Pete through Rover's service. I have three very emotionally needy cats, one of which is nearly 20 years old. I am new to this area and didn't know anyone locally to watch them. I have not allowed myself to go on vacation for quite some time, and was overdue. I was very nervous about trusting a stranger, but Rover gave me confidence that they screen every one. Turns out that Pete is a retired insurance industry executive and demonstrated real professionalism when making arrangements to watch my cats. He sent me pictures of them every day while I was gone. I came home to find three very well fed, contented cats with a nice clean feeding area. Job well done, my confidence was well-placed. I will hire Pete again and i think I'll begin traveling more.”

About: Hi I’m Reise!! I am experienced with caring for cats, dogs, ferrets, birds, and hamsters. I have rescued quite a few furry friends over the years and found them amazing FUR-EVER homes! ❤️ I’m not looking to foster at this time but wouldn’t mind boarding a dog or two here and there while their people are on vacation or work trips! I could also do house visits as well as walking. I’m really down for anything and love animals. I have 2 dogs right now but I love animals so much it’s my passion to make a small difference and find animals close to home to work with and take on walks while their owner may be busy. I’m a stay at home mom, so when I say I have the free time I really mean it and would love to help. I hope you choose me to care for your pet, I really look forward to talking with and meeting you. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!!! :) I am free all the time!!! I’m a stay at home mom. Sundays we usually have family time for a few hours and like to have breakfast all together.. other than that I am free! :) My dogs have a fenced in yard and run to ensure their safety while playing outside. It’s not that I feel my dogs are unsafe, but you never know how someone else’s dog walking by might react when there are dogs outside already. I use StarMark collars on my dogs, these collars guarantee that they won’t and can’t really slip away, these collars are great especially if your dog pulls, my dog used to pull a lot and I was able to get him to do great while walking. I love being able to work with dogs 1 on 1 at first so they can get learn to trust me and feel safe!! Both of my dogs are extremely friendly. Bear is the most gentle giant and Daisy is just the sweetest girl ever. I would love to get to know you & your animals.

But I love all of them and have gotten very familiar with taking care of animals, and making sure they’re comfortable as well. I live on a farm, so pet care is part of my daily life anyways, and I’m used to having to fit that into my schedule, even when busy, so if I have another to take care of, that’s no issue! My animals are definitely cared for. They have a huge yard with plenty of room to run; and plenty of companions. They are played with and they get lots of love, and your pet would be no different.

“Absolutely great!”

About: I was always the go to person for pet sitting in my family. Growing up, we always had at least one dog in the house. And I was fortunate enough to have had one for 16 years. Her name was Bear. She was the best family dog anyone could ask for and I miss her very much. She is the reason I love taking care of animals so much. Recently, I have become very fond of cats and live with 2 of them. They have stolen my heart and take care of them every day. I also have two reptiles which are my whole world. No matter what animal, I would love to take care of them. I’m the sitter for you! I am in between jobs at the moment so my schedule is very flexible right now. I am very open and honest so I’m very willing to for the schedule that’s best for you and your pet! I am not offering services in my home. As much as I would love to, I rent and cannot have a lot of animals staying with me. I’m sorry for the inconvenience!

About: I have had animals my entire life. I also have some training in the Veterinary field if there is ever a problem! I have a Shih Tzu named Oscar, and a big fluffy mix named Jaydee Mae. I also have 4 cats, Felix, Joey, Ellie and Ruby! I also have a few years of dog training under my belt, so I can even train your puppies in basic obedience and potty training! I am currently working full time, however if I have a clientele, the goal is to do this work full time, work for myself, and be able to work any day, anywhere! My dogs are let out about 5 times a day on a schedule, or whenever they ask me to go out. My dogs also get fed one cup twice daily. My cats are a bit different. If the food bowl is empty, I will refill it. It's usually just a cup. I also love to take my dogs to the dog park, or I will take them on walks. My Boxer and Shih Tzu own my bed, but Brutus sleeps in his crate most nights. Otherwise, they have total freedom. I will care for your pets in however way you need them taken care of. However, there will be some amount of spoiling! I love to play with other people's dogs and take them on walks. I love bathing, feeding, cuddling, and well, you name it!

“Camille took excellent care of our two cats. One required daily meds and she was very diligent about getting her the meds.”

About: I have taken care of family pets and friends' pets since I was 10. I have always had a love for dogs. Up until the past couple of years it has grown and I want to help others out. I have educated myself with knowledge. And am willing to help you find solutions on problems you may be having. I'm currently working full-time. But given my work shift, I am off at 1 pm. This gives me time to help others who are at work and may not have the option to come home and take them out for a potty break. Or take them for a walk. I have 2 playful pups at home who love to play and go on walks. It's always my priority for them to be happy and healthy. And I want that for everyone's pet.

About: I've had cats my entire life, giving me a deep understanding of their needs. Over the past six years, I’ve cared for hospice cats and managed various health issues, including administering insulin and medications. Working from home allows me to provide constant care and attention, with plenty of toys and enrichment activities. My cozy home is shared with three friendly cats—two seniors (12 & 14) and a recently adopted 5-year-old—who all get along well with others. I’ve created hidey holes for shy kitties to feel secure. I maintain a clean environment, deep cleaning litter boxes weekly and scooping them twice a day. We have three litter boxes (one upstairs and two downstairs) and keep fresh water and dry food available on both levels. If your cat has specific dietary needs or a feeding schedule, I’m happy to accommodate that. Living in a quiet country setting, I can offer a peaceful environment. For adventurous cats, I have a pet stroller and can take them on walks if they enjoy the outdoors! I work from home full time with a flexible schedule, which allows me to seamlessly integrate pet care into my daily routine. I make time for walks and play sessions throughout the day, ensuring that my own cats—and any visiting cats—get plenty of attention and enrichment. Whether it's a quick game of chase with a toy or a leisurely stroll in the pet stroller, I prioritize quality time with the kitties. This flexibility means I can cater to each cat's individual needs and preferences, making their care both enjoyable and fulfilling for everyone involved. In my home, I create a safe and stimulating environment for cats. With plenty of toys, scratching posts, and cozy hidey holes, window perches, my space encourages play and relaxation. I maintain a clean environment by deep cleaning litter boxes weekly and scooping them twice a day, ensuring fresh water and dry food are available at all times. When caring for cats in clients' homes, I follow a similar routine. I prioritize keeping the space tidy and comfortable, while sticking to any specific dietary or care instructions provided. I engage with the cats through playtime, enrichment activities, and cuddles, ensuring they feel loved and secure. I also make sure to check in regularly, keeping an eye on their health and well-being. Whether in my home or yours, I strive to provide personalized care that meets each cat's unique needs, ensuring they feel happy and safe while you're away.
