“We are so thrilled that Sarah could help us with our old lady kitty! Sarah is a great communicator.... not a care in the world on our end! And awesome to get to know another neighbor in our small town!”
“Ericka watched our dog Zeus while my boyfriend and I explored Yosemite for the weekend! She was so flexible and easy to communicate with! One day she did day care at our hotel suite, then for the others she just did drop-in visits! Zeus was well taken care of and we would def choose Ericka again! Thank you for taking such good care of our Zeus & making us feel at ease while leaving him :)”

“Shannon is the best! She took excellent care of our two dogs. She made sure they had their exercise, socialized with them. They were 2 very happy dogs. She is very good at communicating so there are no worries while your away. Lots of pics were sent on each visit. I highly recommend her.”

“We made our booking on very short notice and Eve was kind enough to accept. We are very grateful for her daily Rover report on our sweet Jenna as well as it seemed she even made her a puzzle that I had briefly mentioned that I would make ahead of time but was not able to as time got away from me. Thank you, Eve!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters isn’t just my love for animals—it’s a lifetime of real, hands-on experience caring for them. I’ve grown up owning 10+ pets of all kinds and sizes, from tiny Chihuahuas to large Great Pyrenees, learning firsthand the responsibility, patience, and attention each one requires. Beyond simply loving animals, I understand the day-to-day commitment of feeding, training, exercising, and nurturing them. This deep, lifelong experience allows me to anticipate their needs, respect their personalities, and provide care that goes beyond basic supervision—making pets feel safe, happy, and truly cared for. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I manage my time around my part-time work and classes, leaving me mostly available throughout the week. I’m flexible and can adapt to pets’ schedules, whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or just giving them attention and companionship. Having grown up with many animals, I naturally integrate care into my day, making sure their needs are met consistently while balancing my responsibilities as a student and worker. This flexibility allows me to provide reliable, attentive, and loving care every day. I provide personalized care for pets in their own homes, tailoring my approach to each animal’s needs and routines. I follow the family’s schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs, while keeping their environment safe, clean, and comforting. Whether it’s administering medications, maintaining routines, or simply giving love and companionship, my goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, happy, and cared for—just as they would with their owners.

About: I’ve always wanted a dog as a kid but my parents did not want to take care of it. Now that I’m an adult I love taking care of my dog, coco. He is a large dog and very active. He enjoys walking, playing, and getting belly rubs. I would do the same to the dogs I take care of as if it was my own. I also took care of 4 small dogs at a time for 5 years. Training, playing, feeding, and walking. I’m currently have a full time job so my availability will be right after 5pm. During weekends I’m usually available. Occasionally I have family events, but I can accommodate. I always check up on my dogs when I get home. I have an automated feeder and I created a dog door for them to come and go as they please. During the night I usually have them go into their homes to rest. But usually they free roam.
“Kirsten did a great job! I met with her briefly beforehand, she was polite and attentive as I walked her through everything. During her visiting she checked off all of my requests and sent pictures as confirmation. Lastly she was great with my cat, playing with her and giving her treats. Would hire her again, fully trust her with my cat.”

“We had Coralie drop in on our cats while we were out of town for two weeks and she was great with them. She sent us photos and we came home to two happy cats. Our shy cat even let Coralie pet her by the end of the booking. Would love to book her again if she's available :)”

About: I have cared for animals my entire life, because I grew surrounded by them. My goal is to work with any type of animal. Currently I’m studying to become a veterinarian, having this opportunity helps me get more experience and become better at it. Besides my personal life, I’ve taken courses in college to understand better animal behavior and learn more about it! I’ll always do my best to keep your loved ones safe and happy! I’m currently studying in College, but I have plenty of time after 2pm during Monday to Thursday. During Friday and Weekends I’m free and always available for any services! I live in a house that has plenty of space and is fenced. I also have a really friendly dog that loves to play around animals. If your fur baby is more comfortable inside the house, we have plenty of space inside where they can run and play!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
