Initially, I was a bit nervous about dropping off my 8 month old pup, Blue, just because I wasn't entirely sure how he would do in a new environment without me and other dogs present. Blue settled in super fast and had the best day! Alex was reassuring and sent updates throughout the day with pictures and videos that were so appreciated. Blue was in awesome hands and I'm so grateful he had fun with new friends, lots of space to run around, and an awesome caregiver in Alex and his family. “We were passing through town and needed daycare for our chihuahua. Shihong took Peanut on short notice, picked her up to take her on a walk around the block with his dog, Cotton, and reported back that things were going well! Peanut had a couple accidents in the house and he was unfazed. He was diligent about socializing her to his dog and by the end of the day they were snuggled in the crate together. Wish we could bring Peanut to Shihong every day! Highly recommend.”

About: My first rescue was a mixed breed puppy for our family. She died after 17 years of filling our hearts with joy. My second rescue was also a mixed breed puppy. She is very affectionate and energetic. I have watched dogs for my family and neighbors on multiple occasions. I have a huge yard with a pond for running and swimming and there is always lots of snuggles and love inside. I work remotely 4 out of 5 weekdays. On the day I go into the office, my husband has the flexibility to stop in several times to walk the dog around the back yard and hand out treats. Safety is the number one concern and I would always have your dog leashed outside. Inside they would have plenty of space for play and rest .

From the very beginning Janet was an absolute sweetheart, meeting me on the porch to grab my little guy, asking pertinent questions to be sure she was doing the best for him and even putting up low wires in her house to keep him from chewing them (puppy) Dash took to her immediately, tail wagging and kisses like she was an old friend of his, since dogs are a good judge of character, I just knew this was going to be a great day for him. From picture updates, to her summarizing their daily activities for me, I was totally at ease and had a happy heart with my decision to reach out to Janet to keep Dash for the day. About: Having grow up on a farm surrounded by dogs, taking care of animals is something I’ve been doing for a very long time. I have a very broad exposure to different temperaments and age groups from puppies to 15 year olds! I’ve watched 8 pound dogs all the way up to 200lbs dogs, none of which I’ve ever had a problem with! I also have experience watching cats! I look forward to caring for your furry family member! Working online, I’m able to have a flexible schedule and provide consistent care throughout the day! I wake up early and go on walks, and I’m always around to make sure they have ample food and water as there needs dictate! I don’t live with any pets, and I have access to a private unfenced yard. I’m also a short distance from trails and fields that I regularly walk! I have lots of experience with drop in visits, as well as overnight stays. About: I love dogs they can tell. I have a boxer that enjoy running with and playing engaging games. I don't mind walking and running in winter weather. I enjoy working with dogs that want to get out and run but I'm also enjoying working with dogs who have gained some pounds and need a walk... who hasn't been there!? I think happy dogs are less destructive dogs and less distructive dog means happier owner. My hours and availability maybe changing relatively soon, but I am available every day before 8 and every day after 3 im available for overnight stays or weekend stays. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and have proudly raised my Mayflower (16 year old Boston terrier) since I was 12 years old. I see all dogs as our best friends and family and will care for your dogs with the same love and dedication that I care for mine. I am an incredibly active person, I spend my spare time backpacking and hiking and love to bring my dogs with me on my weekend camping trips. My dogs are my world, and I think all dogs deserve to be surrounded by loving people even if I’m just a dog sitter! I can’t wait to meet your pups and dogs and make more amazing dog friendships!
