About: This is from a few years ago now, but everything still applies! I’ve been doing Rover for about 6 years, and watching people’s pets for over 10 years now. Hey there! My name is Abby, I am 30-years young and I absolutely adore all animals!!! My father is a self- proclaimed dog whisperer that is amazing with pets, and he taught me how to safely and successfully interact with dogs at a young age. Since I was a wee one, I have always had a natural ability with pets; they generally tend to be fond of me, dogs especially. I have had ample practice and training, with a wide variety of dogs over that past few years. I have been watching pets for eight years now! From the ages 22 -26, I worked at a school for at-risk girls. There all the faculty members seemed to have pets, and take all these trips! No one there had a reliable pet-sitter, for when they were out of town, so those families were forced to board their pets. So I’m talking to the school nurse one day, she’s newly single & has finished plans to start traveling the world. But she owns Harley, the yellow lab, who has recently aged immensely and is no longer well when boarded anymore. And There I was waiting & beyond ready to start my side-business as a dog-sitter. Harley, became my first client and more so my buddy, I watched him for 1 to 2 week periods, frequently, over the next 3 years. Then, the other staff members began to use my services, also. I had around 5-6 dogs that I would take care of on a regular basis. Whether that meant staying with them at their house, walking them multiple times a day, playing, and anything else that needed to be done! I have been doing Rover for almost two years, now, and am extremely confident in my skills! I look forward to any and all new clients. Feel free to ask me any questions and concerns any time! Right now, I am not allowed to house pets, unfortunately, so I have to stay over at your home. I have been doing that for years, and honestly, it makes the job so much easier for all parties involved, because the pets are so much more comfortable in their own turf! I currently work PRN as a CNA, which means I pick up shifts when I want to work. This allows me to be able to work around that schedule easily. I care for pets as if they were my own fur baby. I follow common safety practices while caring for animals- keeping them on leash, avoiding other pets during walks, etc. I am extremely vigilant of my surroundings at all times and try to prevent anything bad from happening by using my intuition and common sense.

About: I have worked within veterinary medicine for over 3 years! I love interacting with all the fur babies, and this will allow me to see their personalities unfold at the comfort of their own homes! I’m currently working full time as a vet tech, so I would have 3/4 weekends off (one weekend for kennels)! Weekends, early mornings, and I have evening availability after 6:30! I will provide my client’s babies with all the love and cuddles while their owners are away! I will fed, water, play, and take the babies out to use the bathroom when instructed! We also may have a photo shoot, so the owner’s know their fur child is okay!

About: I have taken care of several types of animals including rabbits, dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters. I have personally had a rabbit named Buttercup who lived until she was 13 years old and currently have two dogs and two cats. I have taken care of others animals over the past decade and some change including walking dogs, popping in throughout the day to provide attention and meals, and boarded at my own home. I am currently an occupational therapy student at Emory and Henry and am in my last semester. I am free Thursday-Sunday as I work virtually for my capstone project. When I am coming into your home to care for your beloved pet I ensure I am being respectful of your area and keeping it tidy. At my own home I have a big yard with plenty of space for animal to run around and have fun. I have two dogs of my own as well as two cats, all of which are friendly with other animals.

About: Well I love animals the reason why is because I grew up in a house with 5 dogs 🐕 as I grew up i got more dogs and also cats and reptiles as well. I took care of them as my dog Jake got sick with diabetes I gave him hits shots everyday and medicine that is where my care of animals really kick in. So from there forward I started volunteering at my local animal shelter loving on the animals taking there outside for walks feeding them and cleaning there sleep area. As well I have ptsd so animals play a big party in Comforting that part of my life animals aren't just pets there humans and have feelings as well just like we are. Well I have to cats I also take care of chocolate lab and two chihuahuas at another location regular and also house sit as well. About: I’ve grown up around animals and have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages. I’m patient, gentle, and pay attention to their unique needs. I’ve helped with training puppies, caring for senior pets, giving medications, and making animals feel safe and loved when their owners are away. I treat every pet like family I’m a part-time student at Wytheville Community College from 8:20 AM to 12:30 PM, so I’m free most afternoons and evenings. I can provide pet care in the Wytheville, Bluefield, Tazewell, Richlands, and Grundy/Hurley areas. I’m also available all day on Fridays! I have a big, loving home with a large fenced yard that’s safe and far from any roads. I’m set up to care for both small and large dogs, with crates available if needed. I can walk your dog, take them to a nearby park, or even offer overnight stays. I can also pick up your pet in the evening and drop them off the next morning for convenience. Your pet’s comfort and safety always come first!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all of my life ,i have worked at kennels and a ranch,and completed the training for animal caretaking in those environments. About: I've had a dog or multiple dogs at once since I was 4...my husband and I currently have 6 labs along with 2 cats, and my mothers maltipoo...We have outdoor kennels and we do offer in home boarding for smaller dogs and upon request depending on situation/circumstances and pet personality.We love our dogs and will treat yours like ours. We are currently working from home. So alot of our time is devoted to our animals.we have 2 boys who help out and love animals too. We make sure our kennels are cleaned daily and anything else that is needed.We are homebodies so we are with our animals should they need anything, plus our extra time means extra playtime outside of the kennels. We can care for crate trained animals, outside or inside pets. But you won't have to worry about them being stuck in a small & scary concrete kennel. Your furbaby can stay in one of Our large outdoor kennels with good separation and a common area for playtime. Besides playtime they will love watching the cats, chickens and cows around them.We have a lab and maltipoo inside and can possibly bring your fur baby inside if needed...***may be additional charge for inside,certain breeds or larger dogs***...Just let us know your preferences and we can go from there.
