About: I am a certified vet tech assistant, going for my vet tech degree. I have worked in veterinary clinics for over 4 yrs. I have experiences with animals from reptiles, to kittens/puppies, and horses. I work normal 8 hour shifts 5 days a week, with an occasional 6-12hr shift either daytime or overnight at least once a month. My goal is to have weekends and time before and after work to be there for your fur babies. I will make sure your pets are well taken care of. Whether that be a bath, given treats, taken for a walk, let them run in your backyard, car ride, or even just relaxing in the living room. I will treat them as if they were my own.

About: My family had a couple cats growing up and I've cat sat / cared for cats over the years for neighbors. My fiancé and I both hope to get a cat or dog in the near future so any experience and exposure to caring for an animal would be really helpful. I’ve been around dogs plenty but not specifically cared for them other than through association with friends. Love every moment. About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a baby. I grew accustomed to having two dogs at a time in a household as we always had a family dog, so I have plenty of experience caring for multiple dogs at a time. At age 9 I got my own dog who I loved and adored for 16 amazing (and all too short) years, so I am well equipped with the knowledge and skills to care for dogs of all ages—ranging from puppy training to senior care. While in college I began dog-sitting to fill the void of not having one living with me during my four years away from home and I have been dog-sitting ever since. I have special experience caring for up to 9 dogs at once and find it a fun challenge rather than a tedious task. I additionally have cared for dogs with special needs such as having specific eating regimens and giving medications. I currently work remotely and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to spend a lot of time paying attention to pets that I watch. I typically leave the house for a couple hours a day whether it’s to run errands or go to the gym but I make sure pets are comfortable, have water available, and have just used the bathroom before I leave. Then I let them out promptly upon return and give them lots of love and snuggles :) I available to care for pets in clients’ homes, where I will map out the lay of the land to discover nearby parks to take pets to or hikes to go on. I will strictly follow feeding regimens instructed by the client and plan to take pets for routine daily walks. I do spend a great deal of time snuggling them if they allow me, especially while I work or am just hanging out at the client’s home.

About: I have owned and taken care of dogs for my entire life. Currently, I own a small 9lb rescue, who is 11 yrs old. In the past, I have owned medium and large dogs as well, including beagles, labs, retrievers. My clients, friends and family have entrusted me to watch their animals since I was 12. About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: I've taken care of animals of all kinds since I was very young. I currently own dogs, cats, a guinea pig, and chickens, and if there are others that need attention, I'm happy to drop in with detailed instructions. I'm a mom and elementary school nurse. I am relatively flexible, mostly on weekends, but happy to work out the details for when you need someone to be with your babies. At this time, my services will be mainly checking in and providing care and attention to pets in your home. I am thorough and conscientious.
