“Tina and daughter Jenna cared for my two corgis — one 6, one 10+ — while I rafted with friends on the Lower Klamath. I was completely offline for four days, but did not worry a bit. My guys were in very capable and concerned hands. The younger dog got a walk to the Pacific Crest Trail (very cool) and a swim in Lake Siskiyou. My older guy had neighborhood walks adjusted to his slower pace. This was in addition to comfortable and nearly private accommodation in a beautiful and spacious home below the mountain and right off I-5. If you are coming north to enjoy this beautiful area, Tina’s is a great option where your pets will get a taste of the great outdoors too.”

“Oh my goodness. Jean could not have been any sweeter and Rusty loved her. I’m so grateful to have gotten such a caring, knowledgeable caregiver for my puppy. We will see her again soon.”

“Shawna took such great care of our dog!! Literally got her back in better condition than we left her in 😂 our dog Bella loved Shawna too, I could tell when they were parting ways. Bella is very shy and selective about people so it’s a huge compliment to Shawna that Bella is so comfortable with her. Would highly recommend Shawna as a pet sitter and we’ll definitely seek out her services in the future!!”

“Raine is truly the best pet sitter! They have such a clear commitment to the joy and comfort of animals and took the best care of our beloved pup Oso while we were out of town. I couldn’t recommend them enough! Book Raine! You won’t regret it.”

About: Loving pets and caring for them since childhood fosters a profound sense of responsibility and empathy in individuals. The nurturing relationships formed with animals contribute to emotional development, teaching valuable life skills such as compassion, patience, and commitment. These early experiences often shape one's perspective on human-animal interactions throughout adulthood. Relocating to a new town presents unique challenges, particularly for individuals who work from home. The absence of familiar social networks can lead to feelings of isolation. However, pet ownership can serve as a significant source of companionship, enhancing emotional well-being and providing opportunities for social interaction within the community. Moreover, the presence of pets in a home office environment can increase productivity and reduce stress levels. Engaging with animals during work breaks fosters mental clarity and rejuvenation. Thus, embracing both remote work and pet companionship can facilitate a smoother transition into a new locale while promoting overall life satisfaction. The ownership of a large land area provides ample space for personal activities and the well-being of pets. Specifically, two dogs can either share a sleeping arrangement with their owner or utilize a crate for rest. This flexibility enhances both companionship and security in the human-animal relationship. Sleeping alongside dogs emotional bonds and can contribute to reduced anxiety levels for both parties. Conversely, using a crate offers dogs a designated safe space, promoting independence and comfort when needed. Thus, the choice between these arrangements reflects individual preferences while ensuring the welfare of the animals involved.

Michael H.
“Our dogs love Mikey! He emanates warmth and love, is thorough with communication, and keeps our dogs happy and healthy! In addition, Mikey always feeds, medicates, and cares for our dogs to our exact instructions.( one of our dogs is a blind, special needs, dog who LOVES Mikey the most…. And most importantly we feel his extra care and needs are met always.) Mikey sends us consistent photo updates, so we are always at ease knowing our dogs are safe and loved while we are away. I recommend Mikey without pause.”
