I have a 110 lb lab mix and a 70 lb Great Pyrenees mix—both can be a handful at times—but Amber handled them with confidence and care. Her experience with larger breeds (including her own huskies) gave me peace of mind from the start. What truly impressed me was how she connected with my younger dog, who is very skittish and slow to warm up to new people. By the end of the week, not only had my pup warmed up to Amber—she was jumping on the bed and cuddling next to her, something she rarely even does with me or my husband. I was amazed! Amber also sent me photos of the dogs every day to keep me updated, which I really appreciated—it helped so much when I was missing them while away. Amber went above and beyond to make our dogs feel safe and loved while we were away. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again for future stays!”

About: I’ve looked after animals since I was two years old. Growing up on a small farm in Ohio, I learned to care for an array of species. From goats and guinea pigs to dogs and cats, they all hold a special place in my heart. I have experience taking care of all ages, young and old, as well as animals with special needs. Now that I am pursuing a degree and live in Morgantown, I pet sit for friends as well as care for my own cat, Kodak. I’m excited to expand my pet care services to the community of Morgantown and provide quality care for your fur babies! I’m currently working part-time as well as in school full-time, so weekends work best for me! I’m available to pet sit most weekends, but I can normally be flexible with weekdays as well. On weekends, I’m able to spend the majority of the day with your pets to ensure they receive all the love and attention they need while you’re away. I can stay overnight if that is needed as well. As someone who works long shifts in healthcare, I truly understand how important it is to have reliable, loving care for your pets when life gets busy. That’s why I’m offering drop-in visits for pets in the nearby area, helping give fellow pet parents peace of mind. My schedule can vary, so I kindly ask for 1–2 weeks’ notice to coordinate visits around my work shifts. I’m also open to overnight house sitting depending on availability—we can chat to see what works best! On my days off, I love getting outside and would be happy to take your pup for a walk on a nearby trail—possibly even alongside my own friendly beagle, if you’re comfortable with that. She’s great with other dogs and would love the company! Whether your pet needs a quick check-in, a relaxing walk, or some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help care for them like one of my own. my schedule changes weekly, so my availability is variable. I’m primarily available for drop-in visits close to home on my days off, and I kindly ask for 1 to 2 weeks’ advance notice whenever possible to help me plan ahead. I’m open to overnight stays after building trust and familiarity with clients, but those will depend on my work schedule. I also occasionally travel, so consistent communication is appreciated for long term planning. I do not provide in-home boarding or care at my own home, but I’m happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own environment. I’ll follow your instructions closely to maintain their routine. Safety and trust are very important to me, and I’m always respectful of your space and your pet’s needs.

About: I have cared for and been around dogs throughout my whole life. I have always had a passion for animals! I love to run and play with dogs that have as much energy as I do or even just hangout on the couch and enjoy a relaxing day. I want to meet all of your pets needs even in last minute circumstances so that their humans can enjoy a stress free experience! Traveling and unexpected situations can be difficult and I want to make sure your pet is comfortable. I’m familiar with caring for senior dogs, puppies, and dogs with special needs. I currently make my own work schedule and have extremely flexible days. I’m always willing to adjust when needed. About: I have had dogs, cats, and a variety of pets my entire life. I love to care for them. It’s the best feeling when they choose you too :) I have cared for puppies and kittens to senior animals. I am a teacher throughout the week. I work Monday through Friday. I can take care of animals before school and after school and on the weekends. I have a yard that is not fenced in but I do have a long lead for them to roam around on. I live in a low traffic neighborhood and I often walk along our peaceful streets with my own dog. I will walk your pet or allow them outside every few hours or however their needs must be met.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with two chihuahuas and a beagle. I now have two German shepherds who are the complete opposite of each other. I have great passion for the welfare of animals. I am currently the President of the Animal Legal Defense Fund (student org) at my law school. I love to care for people’s pets as if they were mine while my classes allow. I am currently on my last semester of law school. I’m commuting this semester for about an hour drive most days.
