“My pup is a senior dog with limited vision and hearing. Stephanie was great with Daizie in helping her adjust to a new environment. She kept me posted throughout the weekend on how my “ole” lady was doing. Will definitely book with her again.”

“Teigan did an amazing job watching my three German shepherds. They had an amazing time and continue to wag their tails at the sight of Teigan. Definitely recommend and will be booking again”

“Five stars are not enough! We have 2 labs. One is only 6 months old, but just as big as our 6 year old. Jenson was absolutely awesome!!!! Our dogs were treated like family, loved, and pampered. We loved receiving updates and pictures. Best decision we could have made for our dogs! ❤️”
“Crystal did a great job taking care of Rocko. She kept me up to date with his activities and I had no worries about his care. I even heard a funny story about Rocko that kept me laughing. Thanks Crystal for a great job!”

“She was wonderful! We had to book our Pitt to stay with her over the week and she sent us photos while we were away of updated on our boy. He was picked up and dropped off super easily and professional! She was very accommodating to the late notice as well!”

“Great communicator. Steve always kept me informed on what my dog was doing. When I had questions he promptly responded. I highly recommend using Steve to watch your dog”

“Gus came home exhausted! He came home just as he was dropped off. Her kids hugged on Gus before we left which can only make me think they loved on him and treated him as their own. This was our first use of Rover and we will more than likely use it again. Gus hasn’t ever really been around other dogs and she allowed him to adjust and said he did great with them. Highly recommend and will use her again in the future.”

About: I have owned dogs before I could even read. I have always loved dogs and have cared for a large variety of dogs, whether that be age, size, gender, or breed. I have such a love for dogs, I’ve considered becoming a dog trainer ever since I was a child. I’m not currently working, so I’m very flexible with reservations. Just let me know ahead of time and I can be very flexible with you! I remain consistent in their daily routines, especially for potty breaks. I am a huge advocate for positive reinforcement training, so I will make sure the dogs are recognized for doing good.
“Chris did a great job taking care of our dog, Jefferson, and was available over Memorial weekend, which was so helpful. Throughout the 2-week stay, he provided pictures and updates to us. I would recommend his services to anyone looking for someone to take care of (and love) their pet.”

“This was the first time I used Rover for Nahla and Levi and it was such a smooth process! Laurent sent me pictures everyday and the dogs loved it there! Will definitely be using Lauren again!”

“Donovan was very accommodating and understanding with our pit bull! His place was very clean and seemed like a safe place for our boy. We were even running behind on our pickup time and he was very understanding and flexible. As well as sending us photo updates. Will be using him again in the future :)”

“Nina was amazing. Tucker had a lot of fun with her. I’m sure he enjoyed a lot playing with her big and sweet dogs. She sent me pictures and was very responsive. And besides that he got home worn out, meaning that he burned a lot of his energy.”

“Ashley took great care of my two dogs at her kennel. The only thing I would mention is that I had assumed she was watching them at her house when I booked her, but it was really where she is a groomer, so the dogs were kept in a kennel except during play & potty breaks. There were several other animals there. You could tell Ashley loves animals & they did great in her care.”

“Layne watched my Tyler (cat) for several evenings and provided daily pictures/updates on how he was doing!! She was friendly and professional and made the entire process very easy. Glad Tyler had a good place to stay!!! I would definitely recommend.”

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life and have owned and trained animals professionally for 7 years. I would love to take care of yours! I work from home on my farm, Longhorn Arena. Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
